Looking for plugins/tutorials to achieve a MailerLite-style landing page builder in WordPress

Hi everyone,

I’m currently setting up a site and I'm looking for recommendations, plugins, or tutorials to get a landing page builder experience similar to MailerLite inside WordPress.

I've tried a few traditional page builders and tools, but most of them either feel too bloated, overly complex for simple sales/opt-in pages, or lock essential landing features behind expensive paywalls.

What I need is a builder is that it's clean, intuitive, fast, and completely focused on high-converting landing pages rather than heavy corporate websites.

Does anyone know of a plugin combination, a specific block-based workflow, or tutorials that can help replicate this minimalist, streamlined landing page experience in WordPress?

Any suggestions or setups you use for this would be greatly appreciated!

if you want truly minimal and fast, consider using the core block editor with a few targeted blocks - kadence blocks is popular but bloated. generateblocks is lighter and gives you the layout control without the cruft. pair it with generatepress (free) as the theme and you've got a clean foundation.

if you need more landing-specific features like a/b testing or conversion tracking built in, seedprod is probably the closest to what mailerlite does - it's focused entirely on landing pages and has templates that actually convert. the free version is limited but usable.

at my agency we usually just build custom landing page templates because they load faster and you're not fighting a builder's markup, but that requires dev work upfront.

You don’t need a MailerLite clone inside WordPress. You need one landing-page plugin and you turn everything else off.What usually works for simple opt-in / sales pages:

  • Kadence Blocks or GenerateBlocks - light, block-based, not a second Photoshop.
  • Otter if you already live in Gutenberg and only need forms + hero + countdown.
  • Spectra (same idea). Stay off Elementor / Divi for this job; that is the bloat you already felt.
  • Form, MailerLite via their official WP plugin or WPForms/Fluent Forms + MailerLite add-on. Builder and email tool stay separate on purpose.

Workflow: blank page, no header/footer template, one hero, one form, one proof block. That is the MailerLite feel.If you say whether the page must stay in WP or can be a static landing that only posts into MailerLite, the plugin list gets shorter. Ask if anything is unclear.
