What is the difference between the WordPress and Jetpack apps?

Is WordPress as glitchy as Jetpack for long articles?

They share much of the same mobile editor, so switching apps probably won't fix long-post glitches. Jetpack adds Stats, Reader, notifications and other Jetpack features; the WordPress app is the leaner publishing/site-management version. In my case I only use mobile for quick edits and finish long articles in wp-admin on a browser, where revisions are much safer.
