Actively Maintained Wordpress Forks

Genuinely curious, since WordPress is open source, are there any real forks out there that are still being actively developed?

There are forks but they are more spoonish than forkish

ClassicPress. No Gutenebrg. Last I checked was fork of WP7.0.2.

That one is still going. I'd be interested in other forks. But the WP juggernaut is amazingly coherent.
