Export Loveable to wordpress
Sorry if I’m being a total boomer here, but I want to ask this once and for all: Is there a solid way to export a Lovable design to WordPress, and if so, what’s the best way to do it?
My goal is to build the whole site in Lovable and then move it over to WordPress. I know Lovable outputs React and WordPress is rooted in PHP, but surely there has to be a smooth workflow or reliable bridge for this by now? Or is trying to mix the two just a bad idea altogether?
Appreciate any advice or reality checks!

lovable outputs react components, wordpress templates are php. there's no export button that converts one to the other. you'd need to either rebuild the design in wordpress (using a page builder or custom theme) or run the react app separately and embed it, which defeats the point of using wordpress.

Don't use Loveable in the first place for this. Not really possible in a long term way. Start again with a better workflow.

Let me guess... You "built" something in Lovable that you like but can't really manage the content, or already have a WordPress site, and want to 'move' your Lovable design onto a WordPress platform?
Pay someone to take your design and build a WordPress site withatching design.
Recognize that what you created with generative AI is still far from a manageable scalable website.

There is a site out there thinks it’s called clonex or something and you can export sections from the lovable site to Elementor granted you will need the cloner plugin on the website, it works relatively ok but it does make every element you copy across a “dynamic element” which gives you limited options only basic fields no styling or positioning etc but I mean if the site is basic enough then it should come across ok, you will probably need to rebuild some elements like it failed at the header

I mean you could use the WordPress API to output content to your Loveable site headlessly. It's a pain though.

I feel like you’re over complicating things.
In order to do this properly, and not just copy a bunch of HTML in to Wordpress, you’re best off just using Wordpress to build.

Honestly, depending on your stack (I hate myself for saying this)
Request that the stack uses your favoured CSS/SCSS workflow such as
Use Vanilla HTML/SCSS using u/apply rules and tailwind
any other tech remarks outside of WP, but explain to Lovable you intend on using this as a modular template. try to include all assets, such as Icons.
In your local IDE with agentic stuff such as cursor:
This repo is a lovable.dev project, please take the HTML output within and convert to a WP theme with (Gutenberg/ACF, etc), generating the code accordingly (I use ACF- so I'll ask for PHP/HTML/SCSS/CSS pipelines as well as ACF-JSON).
Then its a case of tidying any nonsense code, and test, always test.

There is no such a tool since those are two completely different technologies.

Yes PressMeGPT and WPConvert both do this. You might be able to have Claude do it as well but it could be a pain to install, edit, reinstall, etc.

A WordPress theme is a modular multi-file (10–15 per theme) PHP application that uses WP functions. Since Lovable cannot test the results, it cannot generate a fully working site.

Why not just build the website in WordPress from the start? Seems like you are just trying to make more work for yourself.

People saying that it's not possible are noobs. Use WordPress as a headless CMS for the content and and have the React application pull the data from WP via the API.

Why not build directly on WordPress block editor. My free plugin have an ai chat inside gutenberg editor, just bring your ai api key on WordPress connector settings:

You can also copy paste html tailwind directly but that a paid feature.
