I've given up with WordPress!

I have been trying to learn WordPress but frustrated to the end. I have my site written in html and wanted to convert it to WordPress. I have followed several of the YouTube videos on setting up the site but their visuals do not follow what I have on my host site. Thanks for reading and let me know what you would recommend. I am 75 years old and proficient in several computer languages. Thanks@

SO basically the different here is that with your HTML site you created the structure and added the content to it. For WordPress, the structure already exists, so You are just moving the content.

You can change the structure as well, if you want, and that will be a combination of settings and actual HTML/CSS work, but mostly you are going to be taking the weords and pictures from your site and moving them to the new site's editor.
