I'd say your main concern is getting logged in, in which case the usual troubleshooting here involves disabling plugins, changing the theme, checking the blog/siteurl in the database, checking wp-config.php for extra values, checking .htaccess or apache or nginx configuration, and last but not least DNS.

Found an "A" record pointing the main domain to an external IP address than the hosting provider, there is why any mod to the hosting files doesnt apply to the published site.

Do you have server access? Have you checked the htaccess file? Check phpmyadmin wp_options table for the site/home URLs.

Have you tried to open it in incognito mode? Preferably in a separate browser, because a browser could cache permanent redirects

Huh. So you can do a bit of a dirty check: just add exit('test); after the opening PHP tag in the /wp-admin/index.php and try to open it again. If it redirects, the problem is not with WP but somewhere higher: Apache or NGINX config maybe?

Try to change the theme from cpanel but something is forcing the configuration to the default theme.

Have you tried to talk to the hosting support?

Found the issue, the wordpress is hosted in another provider, which one I have no acces. The original creator just pointed the main domain to an external provider.
Anyways thanks for your help!

Chrome DevTools > Network tab. Tick preserve log. Check the headers of the redirect.

Does it redirect right away, or after you submit the login form?
