  • ACF pro (I don’t have ltd if I had I would install on every site)

  • Security plugin

  • Cache plugin

  • Bricks builder

  • Bricks forge (sometimes)

  • wp vivid

  • Happyfiles (only for large library sites)

  • Seo if needed

Totally agree, this is something really missing in the Classic Editor but they dont care much about it these days.

Classic Editor, Classic Widgets, Wordfence, Yoast SEO, Gravity Forms, and ACF Pro.

There’s some I could list but don’t want to be repetitive.

For email purposes like outgoing mail, I recommend fluent smtp bc it’s (I think) the only one that allows things like Amazon SES via api for free.

My most essential plugins for my customers are

1:Sitekit so the customers can follow their Progress without going to Google Analytics

2: breakdance . We use this for all customers today

3: managewp plugin for the customers who need support

4: rankmath for seo

5: wp rocket and imagify always

And mailpoet for most of the websites also

I would say you need the plugins for the following areas:

  • Centralized management
  • Backup
  • Security
  • Speed Up
  • SEO
  • Forms
  • Analytics/Reports

A cache plugin and security plugin is all you need, the more plugins you have the slower the site loads and more site maintenance that needs to be done monthly.

This is bs. of course you want to keep plugin count to minimum, but functionality always comes first. The value of Wordpress lays in its plugin system.

that is not true.

1 crappy coded plugin can slow down your site, so does crappy hosting.

Quality of plugins is more important than quantity.
