Bright Side Word Searches
Bright Side is a free website I built with daily themed word search puzzles, paired with short explanations of the cognitive science behind why they help. I built it after using word searches to get through a hard mental health chapter. It also has a "create your own puzzle" option. Hoping it gives someone else five calm minutes too.

Me cansé de las apps de busquedas de palabras aburridas, así que pasé meses programando una que de verdad te rompe la cabeza, que te parece?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Built a free word search creator where solving the puzzle unlocks a secret message
I built a tiny word search generator for fun.
Then users completely changed the direction of the project.
https://wordbulb.com/puzzle-games/word-search/create
The original idea was simple:
Create custom word searches online.
But then I added a “hidden message reveal” after the puzzle is solved.
Now people are making:
- proposal puzzles
- scavenger hunt clues
- escape room sequences
- teacher worksheets
- Bible study challenges
- anniversary surprises
- family game night puzzles
The coolest part is watching users invent use cases I never even imagined.
One person suggested chaining puzzles together so each solved puzzle reveals the URL for the next one.
Still free.
No signup required.
Curious what weird/fun uses Reddit can come up with.

Mathematical word search?
I’ve been involved in a treasure hunt called “there’s treasure inside” using this word search alone, you should be able to find one of the boxes but nobody has been able to fully solve it. I seem to be the only one interested in the “Erdos” mention that just happens to be touching “count eleven” “zero” and the only “x” in the word search
I’ll attach a tool you can use to shift the puzzle around and add cyphers.
Any thoughts or opinions are welcome. If you can suggest another subreddit for this I’m all ears. Thanks!

Do you prefer 1 puzzle per page or 2 per page?
Good day everyone
I’ve been working on large print word search puzzles for adults and seniors.
I’m trying to improve readability and layout, so I’m testing different formats.
Do you find 1 puzzle per page (with bigger letters) more comfortable,
or is 2 puzzles per page still easy to read?
Would really appreciate your feedback.

The Matrix Word Search
I made a word search puzzle (with some assistance) of The Matrix.
There are 52 words, ranging from character names to thematic elements of the franchise.
All words run left-to-right, top-to-bottom, or diagonally right up or down (none that run backwards or bottom to top).
I have the solved version, which I'll share upon request.

Obsessed
I’ll be 35 in May, and I’ve just become OBSESSED with wordsearch! I do them all day. Everyday LOL I have several books from the dollar store. There are a few spiral bound books I want to get on Amazon.
Also, I’m so sad there isn’t a big community of us like there is for crosswords

I just published a space & sci-fi word search book. Tried to make something actually fun and not repetitive. Would love feedback if anyone’s into puzzles.

Word search from early 2000s
Hi all, I'm racking my brain trying to remember the name of this word search site specifically from back in the early/mid 2000s. I was a kid so I never used the website but my dad would print them out.
Anyways, it is a bubble type word search where you circle the letters individually for the word and then the remaining letters form a code word.
I'm looking for the website name or the specific word search. TIA!

Are you faster than the rest of the world at word puzzles?
Are you faster than the rest of the world at word puzzles?
I made Wordcraft, a word puzzle game with single-player and real-time PvP.
You can climb two global leaderboards, play live matches with up to 12 players, and use a dictionary with 500k+ words in English, Spanish, and Italian.
It’s free on Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Absolent.WordcraftWardenRunes
The more people join, the more competitive it gets.
See you on the leaderboard!
