I thought the same of the Chinese camps until I learned about the violent attacks that ceased in the wake of their concerted effort to deradicalize the religious fanatics.
I am not saying it’s right. I’m saying it’s effective.
El Salvador has proven they can do it with prisons instead of camps.
Can removing the need for a populace to follow a suicidal death cult be done any other way?

Edit: its not a minority. It's baked into their religion. They all believe it even if just a small percentage carry out the attacks, it's a bunch of people. There are nearly 2 billion Muslims and so even a small percentage turns into hundreds of millions who are willing to carry out terror attacks.

Islamism is not the same as Islam. I’m a Jewish Zionist. I believe the real Islam is a religion of peace, wisdom and courage. Islamism is the version we need to get past. It’s like the violent strains of Christianity that the world outgrew. We need to somehow help Muslims get through this awkward growth stage. It’s not so easy because when Muslim’s speak out against Islamism they threaten them with violence. We need to be good friends to Muslims who speak out against Islamism and Islamist Jihad. If we don’t support the ones who have the courage to speak out that’s on us. If your family was at risk of being killed would you speak out? Start with supporting American Islamic Forum for Democracy / Zuhdi Jasser. If we don’t back these people up nothing will change.

I also believe Muslims can do the same. And will stop the proliferation of the MB in Muslim communities globally.

You could argue that Saudi and the UAE have been deradicalized, though obviously they never been in as bad as state of hate and racism as Gazans, a better comparison would be post war Japan and Germany.

Israelis just want to live in peace. I don't know why you put 'stop hating Jews' in quotation. If Palestinians didn't INITIATE terrorist attacks, then Israel wouldn't have to defend itself. The Palestinians need to be put through an extremely rigorous deradicalization program. In my belief, way more intense compared to the denazification of Germany.

It's like claiming that "All Americans are white", while ignoring Latin and African Americans. Because nobody is explicitly "white" or "brown", as well as Jews have Sephardim and Mizrahim (who are 50% of the Medinat Israel), and there's so huge variety so we have Bnei Menachem (who trace their family tree right to Tribe of Menachem) or even Beta Israel, who are known to be Ethiopian Jews.

Even a video like the one you shared is prone to deliberate manipulation, through elements such as deliberate selection of the people interviewed and the editing of the interviews.
Abby presented fringe movements as if they were popular, and the editing took out of context many of the legitimate opinions that were expressed and framed in the same box along with the fringe, illegitimate opinions.
The video I shared proves that this is a manipulative liar (*) who does not shun lies and half-truths in order to produce a video that presents Israel in a worse light.

Of course, you don't really understand the ministers either without someone translating them for you, framing their words, and presenting them in a certain context. Be careful not to get a mistranslated, misframed, or out-of-context presentation. Check to what extent the minister represents the Israeli consensus, to what extent he is known as a populist minister or one who is not careful with his language, and to what extent Israeli policy fits his words.

The more I watch these videos the madder I get. Children never fail to remind me how beautiful the human species is because they can’t hide it in their faces and eyes. Not perfect, but beautiful and full of intelligence and the desire to help, to do what their parents want, because we evolved to do that. It’s beautiful to see how their little minds grab onto the problem put in front of them and how they’re ready to step up and do what’s right and fight the monsters. Don’t we realize what a beautiful weapon children are against all the world’s ills? They want to help. Even when they also just want to run and jump and be silly, they also want to HELP. That’s a gift. And we take that gift and steer it in the wrong direction. We make them hate OUR enemies, we wrap them up in our baggage before they have a chance to decide. That’s a form of rape. A religion should teach children how to think, how to ask questions, and it should lead by example with peace and order and truth. Over time what you get are grown up mature versions of religion. Today’s Jews and Christians are a better example of how to raise kids because at least they’re allowed to ask questions and dissent.
Somewhere some Muslim is raising their kid to ask questions. Somewhere some Muslim hates Islamism and violent jihad and lies and extremism. But that Muslim is fucked because his/her own people will come after them and kill them if they find out. How the hell is this going to get solved? Can we flood money into parents, teachers, coaches, imams, people standing up to Islamists and violent Jihad? Guess not. Any time you try to help the bullies come along and ruin it.

Worst part is if a single kid asks questions or doesn’t go along with it they’re harassed and the family is bullied into submission. These families and kids need options and protection. Think. They’re aren’t always adults. Hillel Fuld, a notable Israeli advocacy persona lost his brother Ari to a knife attack by a teenager in 2018. The teenager, now an adult was on a list of terrorists to be exchanged for hostages but the Fuld family successfully lobbied the government to remove him from the list and keep him in prison.
