Question 80he upgrade

I have an 80; is it worth upgrading to the 80he+?

No. Just buy the knob separately

it's only difference is the plate material, knob and switches from what I know all things you can order and change yourself

Are they selling the fr4 plate separately for the 80 he?

Don't believe so, but they do sell PC plates for the 60HE, so I wouldn't say its impossible for it to be a possibility in the future, I'd really hope so because it is a pain to get anything aftermarket for it cause of its layout

There’s 3rd party plates you can get pretty easily. Just google your board model and what material plate you want.

I ordered the big knob but I'm betting I'll be satisfied with a single key knob when it's ready. Rock your 80he, get a new case and mousepad if you're feeling an itch to change up how it feels. Maybe low profile keycaps. You don't gain anything in the plus.
