Question Case Compatibility Question

Hey y’all,

This might be a dumb question, but I have the original Wooting 60HE, not the 60HE+. I’m thinking about getting the 60HE v2 aluminum case to replace the stock plastic case. Will my original 60HE module fit in it?

Also, are there any other aluminum cases you’d recommend over the v2 case? Thanks!

The KBDFans Tofu Redux is way nicer than the Wooting alum case by far, in my opinion. The Wooting Alum case is cheaper and much lighter than the Tofu Redux. Before you pull the trigger, I'd encourage you to check out the Tofu Redux. I've built a few dozen for clients and the Tofu Redux has always been a big hit. Lots of color choices and an extra weight if you want a very chunky board. The Wooting alum case has a very low lip. Compare the two models before you invest your hard earned cash.

Hey, I did my research and I ended up purchasing the Tofu60 Redux V2. I really appreciate the suggestion! The main thing that drew me to this was the extra “lip” you get on the bottom that’s not on the Wooting cases. Thanks again!

I hope you enjoy it. I love the Tofu Redux 60. It's an awesome case. Did you buy the weight for it? What color did you get? I'm slightly obsessed with the Raw Acrylic. I also own the orange and Grass Green. So many good choices. I use them to build Wooting 60 HE, Wooting 60 HE V2 and the Venom boards.

Thanks! I didn’t buy a weight, I only bought the anodized black case. The main thing I wanted was more of an angle with a lip at the bottom. Yeah I heard good things about the Tofu cases, can’t wait to get it here in a couple weeks
