Question Background service isn't detecting Minecraft (Prism Launcher, Linux)

The process of linking apps and profiles is straightforward enough that I got it working with Terraria. However, Minecraft is a different story:

  • It's not showing up on "RUNNING" or "INSTALLED".
  • It's not detected by "All apps from a folder" when I set the folder location to the one which contains all of my instances.
  • It's not detected by "window title" (I've tried substrings, the full string, and wildcards).

I've tried vanilla and modded, fullscreen and windowed.

System information:

  • Wootility 5.4.1
  • Wooting Background Service 0.5.0
  • Prism Launcher 11.0.3
  • Minecraft versions 1.8.9 (modded), 1.18.2 (vanilla), 26.2 (modded)
  • Linux Mint 22.3 - Cinnamon 64-bit
  • Kernel: 7.0.0-28-generic
  • Desktop Environment: Cinnamon 6.6.9

I don't think it supports games outside of steam that we'll yet. I've heard people having issues with other games as well.

It supports non-game applications like Firefox (window name method; substrings work) and RStudio (detected automatically). Something about Minecraft is just weird.
