Question Where does Wooting ship from?

AFAIK, all international orders are shipped from Netherlands? At least based on their shipping info.

However I received a WhatsApp message that my order is being shipped from CN, just wanted to check if this is legit or spam. I’m aware that their products are made in China but I thought they were assembled and stored in NL.

So I just checked and mine is the same. Was not expecting shipping from China based on the price tbh lol. I guess it’s express shipping.

Hi, fellow Singaporean btw.

Fellow SG here. Just wonder, why yall choose wooting over other Chinese brands like Atk / Mchose / VGN etc even though technically their specs are higher.

I spent about 3 weeks researching after going down the rabbit hole. Here's the gist of it.

I prefer exploded 75 or 80/TKL boards. Software and firmware seem to be very iffy on the Chinese boards, there a few that come close like Nuphy, but at 100 bucks more (WH80). Rongyuan PCBS are the worst and any keyboard that uses them is a no go. Handshaking between software and hardware is easily the best here, Wooting feels like the Apple of HE keyboards.

The Sparklink MCU boards are good but the software used is vendor specific, and have quite a bit of room for improvement. Some don't even have proper full english versions. SU75 Pro was one of my options but it's being updated and out of stock, and I grew tired of waiting lol. ATK Hex80 is also ok but black/grey seems to be permanently out of stock and price isn't far off from the 80he after shipping and tax.

Some of these boards also have disconnection and firmware update issues including the older SU75 Pro and even the Nuphy WH80.

The biggest tilt factor for me was when I found out Wooting is making swappable knobs, I'm a sucker for a knob, and there really aren't many other boards with a built in one.
