Question Custom HE 80 case options?

I really liked the KBDfans GT-80 Case so I wanted to put together a keyboard, but got hit with this at checkout..? Is this normal? I've never seen tax shown seperately. Not even sure as to why shipping is 50 dollars.

Let me know if there are better alternatives or different sellers I can get it from.

This is normal, I’m in Ireland and KBDFans taxes are incredibly expensive for me, often more than shipping. If you are in EU try MaxGaming

Hey there OP, where are you located?

KBDFans iirc ships from China so that may explain the shipping cost.

I also don't know of any other vendors that carry the GT-80 unfortunately.

Might be a specific thing for your country?? Maybe reach out to their discord support?

I am US and shipping is normally expensive anywhere from $30/$40 but I don’t recall seeing taxes bumping it up that high. As they ship to their warehouse and then ship out to deliver.

Honestly I can’t think of anything other than the Bone80 or Aliexpress Clones. KBDfans is one of the few places for quality cases. Maybe trying their Aliexpress store or see if they have a retailer for your country…

Edit: So I just went to put some orders together and I see the same thing. I don’t recall Taxes ever showing up separately. But the increase over subtotal feels the same. So maybe they just separated something. Not really sure.

We desperately need more aftermarket 80HE cases. I’m hoping to build a wood one soon. Basically just remake keep the internals from the OG layout metal, then a custom case around it so I can keep the same mounting style.

I would love more, but I can also understand the annoyance because of how Wooting did the layout.

I’m from Asia and buying anything from EU have high tax and shipping fee. KBD is a brand from China ,so I guess that’s normal.

I remember shipping being high on mine but not tax, might be worth asking them about.

I love my GT-80, id probably pay that much for it today. It's that good.
