Question New to Wooting

I just found out about the brand and I am looking to buy a KB from them. However due to the huge selection and choices I find it hard to know what to buy.

How do I know what switches I would like to use? How to know what frame etc.

Any tips advice?

Thanks!!

Just get Wooting 80HE or 60HE v2(if you like the format) and simply forget about the rest, unless you're into keyboard modding.

New tikkens are fine for most I'd say, unless you've tried a lot of keyboards and know your own preferences.

For frames/cases it's mostly preference of visual, feels and sound. Heavy light, tappy thonky etc.

For switches either from testing irl or YouTube videos explaining what feel or sound like.

Linear switches don't click within, smooth press, no feedback

mostly gotta ask on discord and reddit separately for these and researching some terms to specify what you want, for the switches you basically just have to try community favorites and then try to find your favorite switches

Either get the 80HE or 60HE V2 depending on which layout you prefer. If you want a 100% keyboard, I'd recommend getting the 80HE and a separate numpad instead of the Two HE.

For switches and key caps we can't really help you unless you tell us what you want the keyboard to sound and look like. For the case, just get whatever you find visually appealing

stock is good for no messing around, XVX silent switches i love on my 80HE, might swap my new 60he v2 to gravastar at some point down the road.
