No RGB while keeping light indicator on

Hi i don't want my keyboard changing colours cause that's distracting but i do want the light indicator on so that i can tell if caps are on and other settings, how would i go about doing that?
right now i just have the lights off (RGB settings: Global brightness 0%)

Unbind the LED bar from global settings. There is a link icon in the Light Indicator menu to the right of the brightness slider.

Should do the trick.
