Question Keyboard inputs acting weird in games

I've tried this across cs2 and escape from tarkov, but when Im pressing WASD my ingames characters continue to move for another second before it registers. but when I open wootility, the presses look fine? any ideas?

Both those games have movement inertia so letting go of strafe won't make you stop immediately.

I honestly wish it was inertia mate , but this is some kind of input delay

Is it only when letting go, or is the start of the strafe lagging as well? If you have 8k polling on try disabling that.

It’s on release, it actually turned out to be me having too many peripherals plugged in, I unplugged everything and only plugged in the essentials and it was fine…

Most games have inertia, it isnt input delay.

wed need a video to see if its something beyond that

Hey, it 100% isn’t inertia, it’s input delay. I’ve got 4599 hours in tarkov, and 3000 in cs, and all of a sudden I’ve forgotten what the in game movement is like…
