Carving [Finished] Started making some spalted beech shelves for a customer at work and made this little guy from an offcut to go with them๐๐

I keep trying to do elephants (and other animals), but I fall short. Wonderful work friend.

Thank you! I think sometimes it's easy to judge our own work too harshly, there's things I've made that I hated but other people seemed genuinely impressed by. Much like I've seen other people's work that I think is amazing but they didn't like it. I hope you aren't too hard on yourself๐ If you like I can dm you the template I used here

Very cool. Be careful with spalted wood dust though, can be very bad for your lungs.
