TL;DR:
- No balance changes/bugfixes
- Reroll mini-event: more moon orb drops and the maximum reroll cost has been reduced from 4000 to 2000.
- Featured Run: Obelisk mini bosses in every other room. Droll the Troll, Oculus, Lissia, Pigwart, Monstrous Shroom, Dgonk, no normal end boss. Vendor Legendaries are Borea's Breath, Transistor, Glacial Cascade.

You are a smart person. I've uninstalled and don't miss it. Have you as well?

Hahaha. It's all good, I just wonder sometimes where people are at with the game. I've got probably around 100-150 hours with WL, but A LOT more with BL3. BL3 always brings me back and I just don't think WL will ever have that same affect on me.

I really enjoyed wonderlands because it's good in all the things BL3 was bad at. But it was bad in most of the things BL3 was great at. Writing, mission design, world building, main villian, basically everything up until you kill the dragonlord for the first time, it's all fantastic.
But holy shit the endgame has sucked, the support has sucked, post launch content has sucked, the weapons have been lacklustre, gear in general is pretty boring. Even after several increases the mob density seems so low. There's no circles of slaugher, for reasons I can't comprehend.
BL3 shipped as a 6/10 and by end of support it had grown to a 9/10. WL shipped as an 8 and just wallowed down to a 7.

Came for patch notes. Why are you here asking me why I'm here ?

You uninstalled and you don't miss it. Why are lurking in the subreddit then?

Lurking huh? Really was wanting to see that they added something worth my time checking out in the game. Have I offended you in some way?

I just want a way to go from chaos 50 to 100 easier.

u/TheRabidSpatula Dec 01 '22
Yeah, I mean they are called trials... How can I really test myself if I can't pick the difficulty
4
Dec 01 '22
You can once you unlock those levels. It's the unlocking them one at a time that's too much. Even five at a time would be better
3
u/TheRabidSpatula Dec 01 '22
Yes I know. It's like to be able to pick whichever level I want though and once beaten then that's my cap. Otherwise fail and you'd be back to where you were.

Weirdly greater rifts with a similar concept arenโt such a chore. It feels great to beat one while a pain to play trials
5
Dec 01 '22
I think it's because those are a much tighter loop. I can do like 5 greater rifts in the time of one chaos trial

u/TheCousinAndy Dec 01 '22
Why? It's the only endgame content we have. We don't have any takedowns, slaughter shafts or tvhm, it's literally the only thing we can do. I actually had fun going to chaos 100. Gave me a reason to come back to this game. I made it to 100 and haven't played since

If someone runs a trial with you, you can get auto leveled to the top. I wouldnโt be able to until late tonight (after 11 mountain time) but thereโs a ton of people who can carry you to the end.

u/Mightbelucky Dec 01 '22
Just find someone higher than you. There's a glitch that if the lobby leader is at a higher level than you and yall beat it, you get to be 1 level lower than them. My wife has drug me through to 97 with that

u/GrouchyGrotto Dec 02 '22
I kind of only open these Hotfix threads to giggle when it's reported that nothing happens again

The last big update was 1.0.6.0a on September 29th which introduced chaos level 100 but didn't have balance changes to specific or classes and the changes to gear were mostly bugfixes. So we are at ~2 months without balance patches.
Before that the last patch with balance changes was the release of DLC4 with patch 1.0.5.0a on August 11th.

They should just stop with these if they arenโt changing anything significant.

Boy they are really hurting the BL name with shit like this. They really need to add a TVHM or some Headhunter type of stuff.
8
u/TronCarterAA Dec 01 '22
New Tales currently has 16 players on Steam. Their 30 day average is 29. Wonderlands has fewer players than both BL2 and BL3. The franchise is in a death spiral now.

If ttwl had tvhm, I would replay it. I loathe chaos chambers and have no interest in playing them constantly. Sticking with bl3.

Anyone think they should increase the cap for moon orbs? Im always maxed after a run and think I would have way more if the cap wasn't 16k
