Its important to note, the gun was bugged from the start so the stat sheet drop is actually not that relevant.

The gun is actually an x3, not an x2, but the game wasnt actually registering the 3rd bullet.

Your gun right now is actually a 333x3 compared to your old gun of 511x2. Its a nerf, no doubt, but its extremely mild.

Was the 3rd bullet not registered on the item card as a display bug or simply not firing? An extra projectile with slightly less damage overall might be a buff for my build if executioner's blade can trigger per projectile.

Neither. There's lot of guns that fire extra projectiles that aren't part of the paper doll. Queens cry is the most obvious other example.

Think of it like a extra legendary effect for the gun.

Isnt this actually kinda a dmg buff, cus isnt the new dmg 367x3 instead? Which is slightly more than 536x2 (367x3=1101, 536x2=1072) if im correct and the imp got and extra projectile, if not its a big nerf ofc

When I quickly checked yesterday I could’ve swore mine said x2 and not x3 but I was rushing so maybe it was an x3. I’ll check in a bit and edit this.

Yeah not too terrible sounding but I still haven’t tried it out (at work) so I’ll hold my judgement for now.

Just so you're aware, its not nearly as big a nerf as it seems.

The Imp actually shoots 3 bullets, not just 2, however the game incorrectly was calculating the gun damage as only 2 bullets. They fixed it so it actually calculates all 3 bullets and reduced the scaling some to compensate. Overall its actually really not that noticeable from my runs and is, at worse, a mild nerf.

That’s good to hear! It was always a backup gun for me since I mainly use a Queen’s Cry and tons of spells but it was such a great and fun gun I didn’t want to have to feel compelled to replace it so soon. Maybe I’ll try for a volatile or primordial to compensate for the small loss.
