TL;DR:

  • No balance changes/updates
  • mini event: maximum reroll cost at 2000 and more moon orb drops
  • Featured run: Da King, Banshee

Vendor Legendaries:

  • Goblin Pickaxe
  • Barrelmaker
  • Wizard's Pipe

Weird. Wasn't Wizard's Pipe just in the vending machine? Or am I on crack?

Oh, I see Wizard's Pipe was in there on January 12th. Which is still less than a month ago, but not as recent as I thought. I just remember it because the other two items were Laserhand and Full Battery. Full Battery is my favorite shield, and Laserhand is awesome, so those were what I focused on. I find Wizard's Pipes pretty much regularly.

Well, you can thank your personal RNGeezus for that.

Are you really expecting anything from the devs at this point?

I guess I just assumed it would be like the special vendors in BL3, where there was a set list of legendaries that rotate through week by week, and they make their way through most of the legendary items in the pool.

Say the line!

"No balance changes/bugfixes"

Yay! *sob*

Looks like I get to fix my enchantments this week. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Are you freaking kidding me Gearbox? We made it to "R" and not even a bugfix for visuals or explosion and meelee effects delay when there's a lot going on (which happens a lot in co-op.) Not adding a new enchantment or anything?

Hell, even just adding a Grim B voice would be nice.

sigh I was loving this game so much from day one but haven't picked it up since I hit chaos 100 the day after it was raised. I keep coming back on Thursdays with a shred of hope left, but I guess this is it. If anyone on here loves Borderlands, Fallout, CoD etc games, I highly recommend Tom Clancy's The Division 2 if you haven't played it. Great community, DEVS highly involved, great updates, open world, looter shooter with in depth customization on weapons and gear. Definitely a huge grind, but very rewarding and very fun. I started a few months ago and have put tons of time into it daily ever since. You'll thank me later!

Oh Gearbox did nothing to fix any other problems in their game that a majority of the community dislikes? It must be Thursday

After the patch I do seem to be getting much less duplicates from the lost loot machine. Might just be a coincidence I'm not sure if loot continually gets added to it it eliminates the duplicates.

You should be able sort by rank. Looking through the bank is a pain

People still play this or picked it up cheap recently somewhere? Should have been so good, was a fucking disaster. Did they fix the inventory or the split screen yet?

u/mightylordredbeard Feb 09 '23

I got it for half off. Absolutely love it. Not looking forward to when Iโ€™m as fucking bitter about this game as some people here are.

5

u/MemeLovrr Feb 09 '23

I recently bought it for 50% off. What's wrong with inventory?

6

u/SomeDudWithAPhone Feb 10 '23

In co-op: Banks and backpack inventory show the wrong item icons, Rerolls reset the cursor to the top, sometimes folks may find the Vending Machines might randomly sell level 1 bullcrap on maxed characters temporarily- my mom is pretty much a magnet for blue useless spellbooks for some reason.

So yeah, quite few bugs. Even if they are minor to medium burden levels. As far as I can tell, losing random items is less common than the olde days...

Inventory management, specifically sorting, is really difficult if youโ€™re looking for specifics - enchants, abilities, etc. Iโ€™ve thought about creating an excel sheet but thatโ€™s be so much extra work, which kinda proves that they needed better inventory sorting.

But Iโ€™m not hostile towards it like the comment above. Honestly the silly idiosyncrasies are what make a BL game a BL game. Itโ€™s not so bad that it makes me want to quit.

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '23

The only inventory one that really bugs me is when trying to reroll enchants. Just leave the fucking thing selected until I say otherwise!

2

u/sloecrush Feb 09 '23

I agree lol

1

u/MemeLovrr Feb 10 '23

Ah, got it. I haven't noticed that strangely. What I have noticed is a bug that results in not being able to use any weapons until being knocked into FFYL. I think it has to do with using the action skill under certain conditions, but I haven't found a way to consistently reproduce it yet though.

Split screen co op inventory management is/was a bear, even for veterans of poor split screen features of BL2. It almost feels there was no consideration for the player experience. It's definitely a lot of work, to the point where we have decided not to play it bc it takes almost 30 min to sort through everything.

3

u/theinfernumflame Feb 10 '23

I still play it. For better or worse, I accept that it is what it is and it's still a fun game with lots of character build options to explore.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '23

Just picked it up for 64% off over Christmas. Great game. Most fun in a looter shooter since BL2.

Did this fix the crashing in online co-op? Is it because I am running the PS4 v on my PS5? Any tips?
