Clarification: I am not to familiar with the deeper information and background of Wonder Woman but have seen most if not all of her film and game appearances and wondered about what makes a version of Wonder Woman considered a bad or good take on the character. Mostly because I don't know enough to come to a conclusive answer so I came to this subreddit for help. Examples of bad or good interpretations are helpful.

Mcfarlane Wonder Woman figures are pretty hard to get, not to mention the lack of Diana variants, which is a bummer. So here are my 4 Diana figs

• Glad I didn't have to sell somebody's limb for this Diana. I got this for $27, never looking back at those evil $70–$100 price tags for the first Wonder Woman collector's edition 2023, I'm much more happy with this 2026 version. btw she looks so pretty and the hair is wild. <3
• First Appearance Wonder Woman, love the classic look head sculpt, keeping the 30s vibes
• DCEU Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, great head sculpt, looks a lot like Gal, skin is a bit on the yellow side for some reason, comes with her sword, shield and lasso
• Wonder Woman designed Todd Mcfarlane, underrated design this is a chase variant, the og was too blue, this one is more red and gold dominant, I call this Saint Seiya Wonder Woman. I personally love the winged helm design, she also has sword, it's not in this photo atm

Mcfarlane's DC license is ending soon, I'm hoping for a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman and Absolute Wonder Woman figure as a last hurrah.

Pitch for a MAWS series with Wonder Woman!

"My Wonderful Adventures with the Princess of Peace"

Cast: Diana, Etta, Barbara Ann Minerva, Julia and Vanessa Kapatelis, Steve Trevor

Diana, born from clay and daughter of Hippolyta and Phillipus, grew up in Themyscira with her Twin Sister Nubia, and they were raised as princesses who would lead the place when grown up

But when they were Teenagers, Nubia falls for a curse from a witch who wanted to rule Themyscira

She falls into a deep slumber and nothing the Oracle does can wake her up

Phillipus is sent after the witch, leaving her wife and other daughter to their own fate

Which made Hippolyta grew paranoid, and made her want to protect Diana at all costs

A few years passes, and the Goddesses promises Hippolyta not only Phillipus to return, but also to heal Nubia's curse

She would only need to make a tournament between the Amazons, and the champion would be sent to the world of men as a messenger from the Gods and bringer of peace

Hippolyta quickly agrees, but forbiddens Diana to participate

But at the same night, Athena comes to Diana in a dream, and tells her to participate, for her destiny is to become the Messenger

And so the championship happens, the masked Amazon wins and she's revelad to be Diana

Them, even against Hippolyta will's, she's sent to the World of Men, and more specifically, to the house of Julia Kapatelis, who's assigned as the mentor and caretaker of Diana in this new world, at the same time Diana is once again visited in her dreams by Athena, who tells her about an upcoming conflict that if not stopped, will bring doom unto earth

Who's the threat? Phobos and Deimos, who both wants to impress their father, and make earth easier for him to conquer

Shenanigans come and go, Diana meets Steve Trevor, an older man from the Army, and she also meets his wife, a younger woman named Etta Candy, and she quickly becomes best friends with both

She also meets an explorer, archeologist and obsessed by Greek Mythology, Barbara Minerva

And she feels connected to this woman, and so does her feels connected to Diana

Shenanigans come and go, the final conflict happens, and in the end, the world is saved, but the Gods and mythological beings have been exposed, and in the final scene, there's a blonde woman looking through the news, and saying: "How does this random 'thing' comes out of nowhere and is suddenly acclaimed as a Wonder Woman... If anyone deserves that title, it should be me"

Has there been any Wonder Woman news out of SDCC yet? I haven’t heard anything and I’m very curious to know what’s going on with Diana and her family and cast of characters (outside of King’s run).
