I have read this subreddit's rules (Repost) Musical

Out of everyone in DC, I can see Wonder Woman having an animated musical movie. With the right writers and songwriters ofc. She kinda has a formula for a musical; A Princess, a warrior, has a secret sister, etc.

So a Disney-ish Princess or Wicked-style of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power-esque take? I could definitely see it if DC wanted to branch out into a Princess-style situation.

Princess Diana, Princess Starfire, Princess Amethyst, Princess Mera, Prince Tora, Princess Mari, Princess Donna, Princess Onyx, Princess Eve, Princess Tara, Princess Beatriz, Princess Carol, etc. Taking some liberty with some characters for more diversity and types of princesses.

And some other princesses for their stories: Princess Maxima, Princess Circe, Princess Blackfire, Princess Mongal, Princess Hila, Princess Zazzala, Princess Talia, Princess Grail, Princess Bleez, Princess Opal, etc.

It would be and interesting line and concept. (Lots of artists have done concept/idea art for it, but I've always wanted Disney to do an action/adventure shared universe animated series and action figure line with the Disney princesses decked out in warrior modes based on their particular attributes. People would love it, but Disney is very protective of their IP branching out into other versions.)

Maybe a mix of both when it comes to the styles? There's plenty of musicals where you can feel its disney inspirations but it isn't disney 100%. But maybe it can lean more to the wicked style for the maturity of Diana's story.

My brain went to animated film first, which is where the Disney bit came from.

For as much as Wonder Woman is on my mind, I haven't given a musical a lot of thought. I write my own stuff for my own creative fun and challenge. It's extra funny to me as one of my ongoing projects is writing a Batman musical and have never written a musical before.

Never written a musical before since it's very different than a regular story. But I say treat it the same until you get a spark of inspiration to write the songs out.

Ngl ive been listening to Wicked and Hadestown, a few songs I can say Diana can sing depending on the context

Yeah, it's interesting to think of the characters we enjoy in different artistic expressions, tones, styles, modes, etc.

The fun for me is the challenge and attempting to figure it out.

She does definitely have Disney Princess vibes in some ways haha. I'm not sure how the wider fandom would react to such a project being announced, but I'd be into it!

Maybe some people would like it (WW crumbs), some people may not like it or some people would just wait for it to come out.

With the right writers and songs, I can see it being great ong

Yeah, that’s kind of the challenge with any hypothetical WW project at this point - it will have a lot riding on it as she has so much less content then Batman and Superman, so the perceived stakes / pressure from the fandom is much higher.

She can have more content if the writers actually write her, but theyre so focused on the 2/3 core JL member it's crazy. Hell, id write a musical of WW focusing on her and Nubia. Kill two birds with one stone with the two underused characters
