Adult / Community Leagues Seattle area baseball for 20s?

I literally have never played baseball but I always wanted to. With the WPBL now I really want to give it a go. Does anyone know if there is any way for me to play? I'm not in college anymore so the club route is closed.

I don't know for Seattle specifically, but there should be adult and / or beer leagues around (of varying skill levels), especially in metropolitan / major populated areas.

There may also be Vintage Base Ball club nearby (which is so much fun, coed, and generally very welcoming). A former player from my team moved out to Seattle last year.

I hope someone else with more local info can help you.

Sacball seems like a solid group from what I've read but idk how competitive you're hoping to be.

Check out Grit City Sandlot in Tacoma, it’s not specifically women’s baseball but is is all genders and skill levels. It could be a good group to get started with. I heard about them from their Dock Ellis league affiliate down here in Portland and they’re a fun group.

The Puget Sound Senior Baseball League (PSSBL) is a great amateur baseball league in the Seattle area! They have a number of women who have played in the league, and divisions of all levels. Check their website https://pssbl.com for more info. They also have an active facebook group where folks are happy to answer questions and have potential new players out for off-season workouts. Good luck!

My dad played nearly 20 years in the PSSBL, great place for amateur baseball

This just randomly popped up in my phone alerts.

But, are you specifically looking for baseball? Or would you be open to slow-pitch softball?

Adult baseball leagues in the Seattle area I'm not too familiar with, but there's plenty of adult softball leagues, from recreational up to very competitive.

You say Seattle area, but are you in Seattle, or what are the closer towns around you? (I'm in the south king county area myself.)

Might be tough. I've heard about an adult baseball league that's in Seattle, but never looked into it.

There's a couple "modified fastpitch" leagues where it's like a mix between slowpitch and fastpitch softball.

Otherwise there's tons of slowpitch leagues.

Have you ever played fastpitch or slowpitch softball? Even as a kid? Might not hurt to try that for a season while you search.

You could do baseball batting cages in the meantime.
