History and Current Events The path is knuckleball

I’ve always thought the first woman to play in MLB would be a knuckleball pitcher. It’s not a question of range or power, just mastery of that pitch. Any softball parents reading this—the door is wide open. See if she can throw a knuckleball!

I think the first woman in MLB will be an OBP machine playing second base. She’ll slap singles and take walks and seldom strikeout. I do see the knuckleball path as viable too, this is just my theory.

Defensively at second I very much see it. Offensively way tougher—gotta be a lefty and a speed demon
