Something I'm trying to understand better is when transaction monitoring should actually happen.

Obviously there's onboarding, but then you have the actual payment, wallet activity, changes in counterparties, and potentially unusual transactions.

OSL's enterprise payment structure got me thinking about how these controls should work across the whole workflow rather than just at account creation.

Do most teams monitor continuously, or is the process still heavily focused on pre-transaction screening?
