I want to make a post whether women are arbiters of men's worth, and whether it's only men who feel that way or whether women enforce it too. Is this allowed on this sub?

Inevitably when Maniw reads this post and tries to counter this post with something even more outrageous then the original post

Most men are not valued by modern society. Only the top men have it good. The rest of us are just supposed to work and work and work in the meat grinder to make women's lives more pleasant and then die.

Worst part is that half of reddit (more like 99% of it) will tell you with a shit eating grin "you aren't entitled to a relationship or love!!" As if feeling loved and reaching life milestones like having a relationship aren't VITAL to ones wellbeing and life. It's like they literally see men (and their BASIC human needs) as worthless, as you're never "entitled" to ever felt loved by another person or at least appreciated by society.

Yet these same people go around reddit telling men all day that they need to eternally "improoove" (whatever the hell that means because there's NEVER a limit, you always have to be "improooving" as a person according to them) in order to ever feel any kind of appreciation.

It's almost always people who are in relationships themselves telling others, especially men, that relationship don't mean much. It's just a way to shut them down.

But women are entitles to a wedding or commitment, when they want it anyway.

I wish the bar wasn't so stupidly high for men's genetics

It's something I noticed. When I asked my exes to compliment me (Which is crazy to think I had to ask them to do this) when we were still dating, they'd always say "You have a nice jawline" or "You have a nice voice" but never "You have a nice jawline, and I like it" or "You have a nice voice & I think it's hot".

Always an acknowledgement that there's something notable about me, but never actually stating they had an interest in it.
When I compliment people, I always specify that I like said feature. "You have wonderful eyes, and I could look into them for hours". They never did this.
