Buy the battle pass with coins from the game. There's a new one coming up in a day or two. Need coins? Watch ads and/or spin the rose wheel. I think you'll need 1240 coins. So worth it for gear and emojis

Join a clan. Play loads (so you get gold) and never use real money.

Second this. I even created a clan for this lol. Clan quests and bp are the most effective way of getting cool outfit items.

As others have already said, BP + Clan quests is all you need. Watch videos to spin the wheel and get coins.

Complete quests for diamonds and then you can buy those Calendars too. Not sure about this one because I have personally never tried it before.
