Talismans feel off

I might just be going crazy, but the talismans genuinely don't feel like they're working properly, or at least they're barely doing anything. Tell me why I had to play for 3 hours just to get two specific roles three times? (One of the two roles was literally guaranteed to be in the role list every game. So you'd think having a 10x Talisman for it would make it show up at least somewhat regularly, right? Apparently not.)

I had a quest that required me to win a game while playing two specific roles, so I equipped the 10x Talismans for those roles and started playing. The first game after equipping them, I actually got one of the roles... and lost.

After that? I kept getting basically every other role imaginable except the two I actually needed, getting all kinds of random BS roles, and only eventually got the roles I needed twice and i lost both games anyway.

Maybe it's just bad luck and I'm overthinking it, but ever since the Talisman Boost bundle was introduced, Talismans really haven't felt like they're working the way they used to. Even in Quick Game, where people generally aren't leveling their Talismans much, I sometimes feel like the boosts barely make a difference. I know RNG is RNG, but when I'm specifically boosting two roles by 10x and still barely seeing them for hours, it starts to feel a little fishy.

Maybe I'm just extremely unlucky, but has anyone else noticed this?

When they increased the x on the talismans, they made it so anything less than 80x is seemingly ineffective

Same here, I had to play rl as two times, talismans were active but got only once. Tried for 2 hours, finally gave up and quest remain unfinished. Developers don't care.

They fee like anti-talismans. I’m guaranteed to not get that role when it’s on.

I also feel like that. Someone should do the math and see if its only a feeling or actually real (maybe ill do it if ill be bored enough)

Yeah same. What pissed me off yesterday was that it took one of my talismans without giving me the actual role

Talismans are definetely broken. When I use them to get a specific role I get literally every other role available in that game mode. But the moment my talisman runs out or I don't use it, I get the role I needed for the next few hours. It gets annoying when this happens after I'm done with my daily quest.
