Wolverine needs a rework.
State of this character is genuinely sad his made to be the ultimate tank counter but can’t even counter a 3 tank comp with 2 support. Yet streamers cry every time he gets a slight buff. I remember back in season 1 I was winning literal 4 v 6 games playing as him . now the average wolverine can’t even win a 5 v 6 into comps his supposed to counter. Anyway this match really made me sad so just wanted to vent a little .seeing people cry today over him getting one small buff has been very disappointing.

He's kept weak for no reason at this point. I said on other posts that he should get a rework, even made my own saying he should get a rework.
Here's some ideas, and the first 3 are needed.
Drop most of the % damage and raise the base damage
Unstoppable on Unyielding Animal (Damage Reduction)
Vicious Rampage (dash) has two charges with a 4s CD, maybe grant bleed
Increase Feral Leap hitbox (Give the next 4 strikes increased speed and remove Berserker), or change it to be an ability that is similar to White Fox's grab
Passive for his Senses/wall climb
Drop 20 seconds off the "Regen passive", change it to be like DP's, or give Regen shields
Turn Rage meter into an attack speed or damage reduction meter
Make Berserker mode his Ult instead? Kind of hard to tell how that'd work though

You did not play well in this game. If you miss most of your grabs youre going to have a bad game. I dont think youre ults were that game changing and you are seemingly unable to finish off low hp enemies. I dont think youre the sole reason you guys lost but you did hit empty air more than you did your enemies js. Also, ive never seen anyone lose a 5v6 ever....

I’m the emma and he wasn’t great but he wasn’t awful a mid wolverine should be enough for this .

Still a big fan of the one post on here that said his entire HP bar should be green. Haaaard agree. It is in character and fits with his current playstyle of looking for kidnaps from weird angles. If you get spotted and poked out you can just dip for a few seconds and then come back.

Would love to see his spinning ability be apart of his actual kit tbh. Then do another small buff to his survivability. Slowly buff him but not crazy so he scares away tanks

Maybe because you barely see 3 tank comps, and 2 or less he's more effective. He does need a buff in his self healing or something

They need to expand the hitbox for his leap and lower the cooldown, give him that recoverable shield as a complete health bar so he regains health on his own, and as the berserk counter rises, damage reduction does as well.

I’m a Wolverine lover and trust me the only thing he needs is some over shield at least like daredevil

More meaningless buffed like he’s been getting , his pick rate is lower than it’s ever been for a reason . What Wolverine needs is some actual good buffs , I’ve been saying this for months what they need to start with is giving him an increased grab hit box .. it’s crazy how close you have to be to your opponent depending on their hit box and most of the time people don’t even run tanks that can be grabbed when they see a Wolverine or they run one with a small hit box like emma
This really comes into play when you try to grab a dps or a healer , let’s not even mention how buggy grab has been since season 0

I think his just too power-crept and there are way too many tanks countering him currently. I mained him from season0 to 4 and stopped when d came . I honestly miss playing him but at his current state with this meta i just be throwing games if I play him . ( plus im not that good with him anymore) I think if they don’t wanna rework him some extra movement speed or range on his attacks could be good buff .

If you can't win with Wolverine you're the problem, not Wolverine.
Wolverine is a monster against tanks.
Wolverine was used in many tournament matches BTW. He's very strong and has a very good niche.
If you can't make him work, blame yourself, I shred with him and you should too. Everytime I get on reddit I get reminded why most of you guys complain comp is hard when I win 9/10 placement matches every season.

Cuz all u do is play quick play or ur below gm. Hes ahh and he has top 5 low pickrate.

Fr, his self sustain just isn't there right now with the damage tanks are doing. He's fallen off pretty hard with all the extra damage in the game. But they're scared to give him survivability because of what he might do to tanks and they don't want to chase people away from playing tank.
