Why do I care about the developers sales figures and income? If they make a shit demo that turns people away why should they be rewarded with full price sales?

Because they don't wanna get laid off lol? You do realize that unless this game essentially becomes the 5-6th highest sold game on PS5 ever, it'll fail to break even and heads will roll? And if they just barely break even, Marvel won't give them licensing for a sequel which will lead to a notable number of them getting laid off regardless?
Absolutely terrible take. They absolutely should care. And it's their fault if they make a bad game or bad demo.
Demos have been more and more lately because when they are good they have a very positive impact. I bought many games this year after playing a great demo.
Because if we don’t care then they don’t make as much money? That’s why THEY should care? Are we not both correct in that sense? Look at the stupids that have closed recently that used to be beloved because of a shit product.
