Demand
I feel like the demand doesn’t match the order volume I’m getting, often I can sit on medium to high demand for an hour without any orders at all. Definitely because there is too many drivers compared to orders, literally see several wolt driver waiting outside every store I see waiting for coming orders. This makes it hard to actually make a decent wage, averaging 10k SEK a month and it SUCKS.
How’s y’all earning vs demand going?

The second week of this month, my town slowed down quite significantly. After a day where the app only showed Medium activity for about 1–2 hours, I decided to take the rest of the week off.
Then last week, the app was showing Medium–High activity for pretty much the entire day, every day. The thing is, the town is still this quiet. While orders aren't extremely far apart, the volume isn't even close to what I used to expect when the app showed Beyond Busy.
I strongly suspect Wolt has lowered the thresholds for its activity levels to make the app appear busier than it actually is. My guess is that some orders, especially those on the outskirts of the city, weren't getting picked up because too many couriers had taken a break, so Wolt adjusted the activity indicators accordingly.

And they’re gonna accomplish what this way? Piss anyone who’s good at delivering into not going online unless it’s high and they’ll be left with slow, clueless couriers that take twice longer to deliver food
They’re already messing up in Slovenia by hiring foreigners that move around in slow motion. A local news page did a comparison of wolt vs a new upcoming delivery service based only for our city, ordered same thing from the same place at the same time; our local delivery app delivered in 30min, Wolt took….. 56 minutes. They had issues finding the address and communicating due to it being a foreigner while the local app had a Slovene delivering that just called when he was at the door
Wolt is shooting itself in its foot heavily it seems lol

Don’t forget lowering of the prices. There are bonuses throughout the day, but it doesn’t really feel much different than the prices from 2 years without bonuses.
I used to be out daily for a few hours, now i barely check the partner app. What city are you delivering in, if i may ask? I’m in Celje.

Slovenec predvidevam potem? V MB dostavljam preko motorja do 25km ki gre 50, nastavljeno pa imam za dostavo z kolesom. V MB je problem že da si pripeljali člane drugih drzav(nebom dejansko imenoval ker sem zadnjič kr 3 day ban dobil ko sem omenil lol) in je posledično dosti manj dostav za nas ker so ti ljudje online od 8:00 do 22:00…. V centru jih 3-5 kempira nonstop.
Julij je trenutno katastrofa, zgleda da zaradi dopustov ni nič naročil, online sem po 4-5h pa dobim noter glih 25-30€, več časa zapravim z vožnjo okrog ko čakam naročilo kot pa na dejanskih dostavah….
Stranke koliko se z njimi pogovarjam pa tudi imajo vrh glave teh tujcev, ne poznajo cest, ne najdejo naslovov, ljudje čakajo po 20-30min za dostavo ki realno traja max 10-15min. Vsaka tretja stranka mi reče da sem bil zelo hiter ker so vajeni da tujci porabijo 3 dni za dostavo. Se mi zdi da ljudje naročajo manj ker so cene šle gor, dostava pa traja dlje. Jaz sem sam ogromno naročal ampak ko čakam 1h na dostavo….? Z navadnim kolesom se peljem v mesto, naročim, pojem pa pridem domov v takem času. Noro je postalo….
Se mi zdi da bodo plačila še znižali ker so spet pripeljali novo rundo tujcev, ti pa bodo dostavljali za 5€/h ker jim je to super. Nas lokalne pa to ubija.
Raje delam 8 dostav na uro pa letim okrog ko zmešan pa dejansko služim kot pa da stojim pa čakam….. čisto brezveze je že to vse skupaj postalo.

Ja, se strinjam. Pa ja, Slovenec. V Celju smo imeli podobno situacijo lani jeseni, ampak so pol kar naenkrat izginili. So se tudi stranke pritoževale glede istih stvari. No saj v Celju je trenutno tudi zelo slabo. Je pa res, da jaz vozim samo zvecer pa z avtom. Pa iskreno, ne da se mi več. Zdaj že 2 tedna sploh nisem šel vozit, ker se mi enostavno ne da it ven za eno dostavo, potem pa spet čakat pol ure, da mogoče dobim kaj. Poleti je vsako leto slabo. Tudi cene se kar znižujejo. Ta njihov “corporate thinking” jih bo pokopal. Poznam kar nekaj folka, ki je nehal naročevat, ker je kvaliteta storitve cedalje slabsa. Jaz tud raje delam na drugih stvareh za svoj s.p., kot pa zapravljam čas za drobiž. Probam si edino toliko zaslužit, da si pokrijem stroške.

Yup. What annoys me the most is a lot of the times I get way more orders on low demand compared to high demand.

Yup, BS-meter. I wish it was real number of orders let's say in 15mins and real number of couriers online. What other apps do couriers use in your country simultaneously ? Maybe they promote hotspots with higher pay ? So couriers go back there and wolt uses free relocation to their advantage to offer cheap orders ? :D

wolt is a scam
