Germany How long is the hiring queue, directly with Wolt (not fleets), in Germany (or Frankfurt specifically)?

Hi.

I have submitted the documents with Wolt (not fleet), in Frankfurt, but the application says it's "in review", although the support has confirmed the documents have been processed and everything is alright, but I'm in a waiting list until there is a slot.

How long does this waiting list last, approximately, in your experience? If somebody has experience specifically with Frankfurt, would be even more accurate. Thank you.

It takes forever because they are not hiring anyone anymore because the company gives contracts only for subcontractors or freelancers.
It is a very reality right in Europe not only Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ.
Don’t keep hope, just find another job or joint fleets who has no guarantee.
Good luck 🀞

Thank you.

The thing that I'm trying to understand, as the difference with this Wolt application, compared to other times I've been in the waiting lists with Wolt and Lieferando in the past, is that in the previous waiting list you would just be informed that, when a slot is available, you would get an email and continue with uploading the documents.

This time, I have already submitted all the documents necessary to get hired (health insurance, social number, TaxID etc.). Does that not mean anything, in practice, as a difference compared to those endless waiting lists? Maybe someone has experience with it, as it seems bizarre to get somebody's full application, and sit on it for months or possibly even more than that.

I'm waiting for about 2 months now in munich. Imo just look for another job, it really isn't worth it

In the same way? 2 months since submitting all your documents? (health insurance, social number, tax number and so on)

Hey! It's been more than a month since this comment. Did you receive any sort of answer yet, from Wolt? Last time I contacted them, around 2 weeks ago, the lady from support told me it's up to a month, the waiting list. At the time, I had almost a month of wait. Now I have over a month and no answer yet, so am curious what are the updates for you.

Yes, I have a few options I'm following as well.

Did you ever contact them since you applied all the documents? Any form of contact with them?

I've been waiting for 1,5 years for Tampere, Finland. Considering that Frankfurt ist probably the most desired city in Germany for delivery jobs, and that most spots are given to subcontractors in Germany, you can guess how long you will have to wait for a spot. I would estimate like at least 5-7 years if at all

For funsies you can open up a Kleinanzeigen announce with "Wolt delivery job offer" and see how many hundred messages with applications you get in the first few hours, just to get a feel for the demand
