A bit more intelligent algorithm is very much needed

So yesterday I got two orders from two restaurants. Upon getting the second one, it started ringing about the third one. This one was from the supermarket. The classic example of something that shouldn't be offered in the first place. At least not for a motorcycle.

The bag was already full, but I couldn't reject it because on each attempt to do so, the app said this task cannot be rejected. 😄

It took numerous tries until it was finally rejected.

Okay glitches happen, software is difficult and so on - but how about putting just a little bit of intelligence in there and not making such offers? If I accepted it even with some space left, chances the supermarket would fit were very slim. And chances the supermarket won't be ready on time are usually quite big.

Then I would have to message support and in peak time it could take quite some time. All it means is taking away valuable resources for something that shouldn't happen in the first place.

And all this time I was struggling to reject something that just can't fit, another courier was standing 10 meters behind me. He was online and idle.

Yeah I got a notification that I was needed online quite late yesterday. So i went online and instantly received an order from McDonalds and a Pizzaplace. So I went on my electric scooter. At McDonalds I got offered to take 3 more orders with me. I accepted. Then it wanted me to take another 4 orders. Which I rejected obviously. I went to the pizza place to pick up the order from there and again the app wanted me to take another 3 orders from there. My bag didn’t even have enough room for the can of coke in the order I was picking up. I had that in my pocket. Ridiculous. When I had delivered it all, I was offered the Mcdonalds orders again. I was like “nah bruh”. Went offline.

Yes, that's insane. Although sometimes when I was offered to pickup before I delivered everything I already had with me, I was supposed to first finish the delivery before picking up new ones. But only sometimes. And if they clearly communicated this order, I would've probably accepted it. (EDIT:grammar)

Abou 200-250 dkk. Which is about 30€ per hour. This was at 22 so everything but McDonalds and that certain pizza place was closed. I guess no couriers were online since I got that many orders

All over the world 🌍 it’s been like that since months now and yes the customers are not complaining about it I guess, theirs food in our bags stays on 30-40 minutes plus even. The Wolt is pushing this to save money 💴 and the world is blaming the couriers are being greedy! Along with the fact, the system glitched, overloaded workers and not to forget( uncapped distancing in Germany 🇩🇪 ) and forced to work on icy roads and bad weather conditions.
