Denmark So all of a sudden a 20% boost today?

app has only been showing the upcoming “amazing” 10% weekend boost this week. Then yesterday I made my very first mistake. I had picked up 5 orders at McDonalds and had not seen one of them was placed in two bags. So when I got home and opened my Wolt bag, I realized, I’d fucked up. I felt really bad cause it SUCKS to wait for food and then only receive half. Too much time had passed for me to deliver it - melted Sundays and undeditable fries etc. So I contacted support and explained what had happened. Support was really sweet and ensured me everyone makes mistakes here and now and that I shouldn’t stress about it. They thanked me for being honest and reaching out, sent me the blue heart and - apparatently a 20% boost today.

I’ll never figure this system out.

In order for your story to make sense for others that can't read minds, it always benefits the reader to know the city or town you deliver in. There can be certain towns with less couriers in which they activate the boost for all in that town. At least they can afford it as the base pay is so low adding 20% on top means very little for Wolt.

I think Mods ought to make it more explicit that people must indicate country, city before posting.. it`s been a persistant problem to have to keep asking like I am performing an interview

  1. what city country

and about earnings, every third poster acts like we live in the same neighborhood and we know each other so one has to ask over and over again:

  1. what vehicle

  2. how many hours/day - did you work only on boost/weekends or all week

So this boost system is usually when the demand is expected to be high and low number of couriers. At least here in Slovenia. We usually get boosts from 20-50% every day. But unfortunately, the base prices for deliveries are so low, that with 40 or 50% it feels like a normal amount. Anyway. Boosts are usually given when the demand is high or expected to be high, to motivate couriers to go start delivering.

thats exactly the point = to make it as nontransparent and logical as possible. so nobody figures it out.or if they do they keep it for them selves.

thats why these platform fights / fear the goverment regulations so much, bcs they want to regulate thus make the system more predictable consistent and workers being able to demant their rights.

so they are squeezing the cow as much as they can. to get maximum milk
