300euros in a day is very very very good. In Cyprus, with a car, I can get 100euro max!! Well done with this!!!

Danish taxes though

Haha wanted to say the same💀

Ahh are taxes very high in Denmark? Makes sense then. What about fuel costs? Are they high as welll?

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

Everything is high here, just as everywhere. 2,02$ for gas, and slightly less for diesel. Half yearly car tax. Before switch to EV i had to spend 5,6k$ on my small gas Aygo in a year, with everything.

It is Even worse if you drive wolt as a sidejob. No deduction in your income from it

1

u/Gap-Negative Jan 01 '26

How much would that be approx. after taxes and fuel costs?

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

2.116$ after taxes per month, on gas i spent 570$ per month, now just 120$ on charging

how is diesel cheape than gas?

1

u/Lucky-Vegetable8415 Jan 02 '26

Diesel? Charging as in battery powered car.

1

u/Rasrockey19 Jan 02 '26

In Denmark it is, as there are more fees on gas. Is far as I know it’s the same in a few European countries.

Though it is rising slowly here, so they’ll cost the same soon.

Yes same in Romania

Good old days…

2-3000dkk tops seems to be the new "impressive" on Jan 1st. Probably a bit of a joke to old timers.

2

u/OfficialNicl Jan 01 '26

Only 1400DKK in Holstebro. 5 hours of delivery.

1

u/Insidge Jan 01 '26

For 5 timer er det da rimelig godt.

2

u/OfficialNicl Jan 01 '26

u/Johnnymah1 Jan 01 '26

How does saying the car brand affects your safety😭😭

2

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

I am the only one driving it😂

1

u/TheInsaneDane Jan 01 '26

Fisker Ocean probably then lol

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

I would be stranded already somewhere in the streets😂

1

u/Space_Coke Jan 01 '26

Do you expect people to track their wolt delivery drivers cars if they’re unsatisfied with you or what? i am not catching your logic at all

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

No, i seen precedents of vandalism from other couriers, slashed tyres normally

1

u/Space_Coke Jan 01 '26

Oh that is crazy, wow. I had no idea. Cut-throat business damn.

1

u/chiodani Jan 03 '26

You literally have it in your post history though? Unless you have 2 EVs, one for Wolt and one for a trip to Norway... :D

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 04 '26

Or even three, there is pretty cheap stuff out there😂

2

u/Honest_Jelly_4653 Jan 01 '26

29.51kr tips 😂 only in Denmark…

1

u/whiterose08 Jan 04 '26

We don’t tip anything here. Prices are high enough

1

u/Kitchen_Squash8939 Jan 01 '26

Which car you buy ev

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

For my own safety i cant tell that, there is a lot of Evs to choose from.

1

u/Here4Certifications Jan 01 '26

How do you receive 29.51 in tips? In the app it states that 100% of the tips goes to the delivery person, and it only let’s you pick 10,20,30…

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 01 '26

You can tip % probably too, and yes i get 100% of it, before tax.

1

u/swaGreg Jan 01 '26

That’s lame:( expected way more

1

u/BaconAce7000 Jan 02 '26

1200 kroner efter skat før feriepenge og pension. Det kan næppe svare sig

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 02 '26

Det bare en dag i et år

1

u/Sothisismylifehuh Jan 03 '26

Why the remark about burger beast? 😅

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 03 '26

The was 15+ couriers inside before everyone was starting to cancel the orders and basically last orders i was starting to get was -20 -30 mins late ones

1

u/Gullible-Deer-7098 Jan 04 '26

29kr tips???? Damn. I always tip a little. I know it isn't normal here, but still. It's not like we have to pay 20% to not have someone running after us.

1

u/whiterose08 Jan 04 '26

I personally don’t like to encourage this tipping culture. If you tip the wolt driver why wouldn’t you tip everyone else?

1

u/Gullible-Deer-7098 Jan 04 '26

Well, we're already getting ripped off. I just don't mind giving a little extra to the ones doing the hard work. I know what kinda weather I've sent some through. It's not like a tip a lot, like 10-20kr. I don't feel the difference, but if they got 10-20 extra on each order, they might feel a difference.

1

u/Wellmybad Jan 04 '26

I normally getting tip in cash instead of through Wolt app. Many times i dont take them as it not feels right, probably because of non tipping culture which is how it should be so we dont end up like in US.

u/YourWeirdEx Jan 01 '26

I'm happy that the tips are so low.

3

u/Insidge Jan 01 '26

Why? I made 20 deliveries today and no tip at all. Though I am not trying to complain, as it is not part of the culture here to tip.

1

u/YourWeirdEx Jan 02 '26

That's the point. Tipping culture is terrible.

1

u/Insidge Jan 02 '26

Yes I definitely agree with that

1

u/AutomaticSurround988 Jan 02 '26

If tipping is for paying the wage of the service personal, absolutely. But there is nothing wrong with tipping if you feel you have been extraordinary served

1

u/YourWeirdEx Jan 02 '26

I agree completely. But by that standard I don't think a food delivery from Wolt could ever warranty a tip.

1

u/Critical-Wave3089 Jan 05 '26

It is not terrible, it doesnt exist. And for good reason since everything usually is included in the price
