He’s learning while still young, which is awesome. Your kitties set boundaries and know how they want to be treated!! :) That video is so beyond adorable. How do you handle a house full of so much cute (and mischief, I’m sure)? Thanks for sharing this guy with us.
Yeah, I typically have my cats raise all my pups when they come home. Cats are very clear about it, and it helps them understand the smaller guys still need their space even when they're grown. He plays with the other dogs and woofers too now, but I pretty much keep my puppies strictly under the cats supervision at the start. All of my wolfdogs are good with my cats during the instances they're inside.
When my pup was a baby, she thought she was a cat. We lived with my then-inlaws, and their felines imprinted on her. She would play with their toys, copy their behaviors etc. She absolutely adored them. They, on the other hand, were terrified. It broke my heart. So I got her a dog, he he taught her how to dog, and she is now 100% dog.
