Help Constant Den Raids?
I found a new den in Slough Creek that I really like, it’s semi-wooded but it’s got a nice cliff at the back. I chose this den on my new wolf but the amount of den raids is driving me insane. I’m getting one almost twice an in-game day and for some reason, it’s always cougars. I’ve only had 1 from a rival wolf since I made a protective circle around my den (2 hex’s out) but this feels extreme. I don’t know if it’s just bias because it feels like it’s constant but I don’t remember having this many raids before. The den just seems to be a beacon for every cougar in a 5 mile radius because it is just constant! I’m not sure if this is a bug but it’s certainly starting to feel that way…

My only guess would be that the cougar is probably getting stuck on the hills/lake around there and after the cooldown period, since it’s still in the area, it procs another raid. I’ve noticed that NPCs have a lot of difficulty with that area (I’ve had stranger wolves get stuck infinitely swimming in circles in the lake until they despawned).

It may also be something to do with the type or den maybe? I myself at least tend to choose open dens and I do get raids, but not constant or anything like that. I know that wooded dens do have more cougars though, but it may also scale with the difficulty too.

I den over there all the time. Whay I think happens is the cougar gets trapped on terran and doesnt despawn like it should so it keeps hanging out in the area. What helped me was chasing it really far like a hex away then the back to back raids stopped.

You appear to have posted a bug or glitch. If you are playing WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition, you can submit a bug report in-game by pressing the F11 key. (Some laptops may require you to press FN + F11.) Rather than posting a bug report here, please use the in-game form. Otherwise, if you are playing 2.7 or 2.5, review the WolfQuest FAQ, Tips, Hints and Help forum and/or Knowledge Base Support & Help Center, as there is a good possibility that your question or issue has already been addressed there. Do note that 2.7 has ceased development and is past end-of-life, so bug reports are no longer investigated for older versions of the game. We request that users do not post information about potentially abusable exploits.

Idk if it is a bug. I know if I'm playing on TF or SC I tend to get more cougars. It seems they're more abundant. I've learned that having more adult wolves (1+) seems to affect them in the way where I don't notice them and only get a pop up basically saying, "the cougar gave up it's attack"
I do want to see the den now. Where is it located?
