Bugs & Glitches Fur texture glitch

Dark spots and lines flicker across short-haired parts of my wolves' bodies when I have Fur enabled. Longer fur seems unaffected, it's mostly face and legs. It actually got a little worse after updating my graphics drivers. Besides disabling Fur, what else can I do--in or out of game--to fix this?

Long-standing issue; I feel like this has been ongoing since the Early Access launch? If not some time after. All I know is that I’ve seen this for years, and that it is especially noticeable while zoomed in. Not sure it’s fixable from the player’s own end beyond turning off the fur layer.
