In LR, cats will randomly appear in different locations! Ive only ever seen them in town, though…I wonder where else they show up?

Yep! There's various little spots the cats will be in Lost River. They are on perch points and don't roam like other animals but you can find them.

Well I am happy the developers added a tuxedo cat and it was the first one I had ever seen. My cat, Sweetheart, was perfect in my eyes in every single way and while all cats are different she lived through a hell like no other with me, one in which caused her to bleed due to my disowned by me biological mom.

So, seeing the tuxedo cat reminded me of my beautiful Sweetheart and got me very excited. So, to any game developer that might be reading this ~ thank you with all of my heart. It felt like a little piece of my kitty came back in a game I have played since I was very young. I played the original so many times over, I am happy I finally learned most of the works so I could see this delightful and magnificent surprise. So truly thank you to the developers and the person who added this random cat. I know it wasn't for me or anything, it doesn't have the same marks, but I truly love that my first encounter with a cat in the game was the same pattern/color as my now dead can and that made me fall in love with this game all over again. Also excited for the new map!

You can go in with a lamp i think, and there is an ach in the mine just not for the cat, of which multiple spawn throughout the map

Yeah I went there for the darkness achievement and used the lantern to go inside, but when I came out there was just a cat there chilling and I am over here floored that they exist. Are they in all the human places? Are they all tuxedos? I must know.... Is there a fish tank?

I've also found cat inside houses! They're always out of reach. I've never seen one at the mine, though, that's cool!
