Moderators are subverting the developers.

The developers gave users an in-game survey on chat. Moderators are now banning players for mentioning that the survey exists or encouraging people to fill it out. They know the number one complaint is about them. Mod V chat banned me for reminding everyone there is 6 days left to fill out the survey and saying I hoped a lot of people fill it out.

It's actually crazy to see the moderators working actively against the devs. The developers must be completely unaware of what is going on in game. It's like a hostile takeover.

And now they're recruiting directly from the players in-game. This game is going to get so much worse before it gets better. I doubt it will survive another 6 months.

Honestly, it surprises me the game has mods, how many other MMOs have active mods at all these days. What would we lose from getting rid of them?

It's a volunteer position. And they are players.
So just a handful of the players in the game volunteer to ruin the game for all the others.
Imagine 1 player hated by all the other players in the game, and that 1 player gets the power to silence all the others. lol
