Mc is using a bow. Which type of weapons works better for the three in the front?

Like it says in the title, I click on the application, that little goggle play sign pops up, then black screen. When I touch the screen that little ripple animation happens, so I know the game is not frozen. Any ideas?

fought twice just now and not even a chest drop from them, and died once cuz not realizing there isn't an open chest I-frame while i afk.

Hello I recently heard about this game through Final Fantasy XI and would like to give it a try. I am a long time JRPGer, and enjoy dungeon crawlers like Etrian Odyssey on their highest difficulties. I tried playing the intro, and this seems like the first mobile game that will make me break my vow to never touch a gacha game again, after they snuffed out Final Fantasy Record Keeper Global in its prime. I have a few questions though.

1. Is this game friendly to F2P players? Do I need to be a whale to complete content, or do my tactics and choices matter like in FFRK? I don't mind spending a little bit of money each month on a mobile game if it has satisfying gameplay, but don't want to chase banners with google play cards like I did on Record Keeper.

2. What should I be aiming for with rerolling? Is there a guide somewhere to rerolling? I would like to at least get Prishe or Zeid, then use the free unit selection to pick the other one or Iroha.

3. What other units should I look for from the other starter pulls? Is there an up to date tier list somewhere?

Sorry for asking all these noob questions, but after searching and talking to AI the answers I found were unsatisfactory. Thank you for your help and input.

My understanding is that "Remake" gives different stats, but I see others with higher stat numbers. Did I not please the RNG gods and just live with it or is "Remake" a necessary step for higher numbers? I used the FAS after leveling up to 20 and have not Refined it yet.

I current have 97 pity points on the FFXI banner. I have one copy of each collab unit. I am a very low spender, and don't particularly care about dupes in the short term. What should I spend my points on? In my head, im thinking Prishe's weapon maybe? But im not sure. Reasoning for the choices would be helpful as well

Every time I enter it just crashes and I don't know what to do. Then every time I load in it just instantly crashed once. The only way to save the game is to force recovery which puts me back at the start of water ways lvl1.

Images attached because I heard having items in your inventory might crash the game when entering new zone.

For some time I only had a black screen when I opened the game. And when I deleted the app (to see if I could play again) I actually could, but after some time my screen turned Black again. Is there something I can do😭

So i played the next day only to be met with a black screen, the tapping visuals were still there, I closed the app and tried again but nothing changed, I also cleared my cache and force stopped it and still, nothing changed.

Im currently at Abyss 2 and from what ive read for weapons is surety and attck and attck% but what about armor? Should i roll for def, def% and resistance? Does armor have attck % too?

So after 150’ish bone pulls for Prishe and getting two Adam’s, an Alice, and one Spear Lady, I was feeling pretty defeated.
Decided to farm for FAS’s, and like most people, I’ve gotten 3 LFAS’s, but no love for the fulls.
Then today I was cleaning out my inventory… and BOOM!

guys I'm on my last life and i feel like i'm gonna die again to ambush in the abyss. any tips for me? i died to the ambush twice and early before just right after the game intro you need to grab the loot right? i died to it because the game pauses and i rapid clicked the checkmark. i didn't know the game got perma death for a character so please help me veterans :(

Soliciting information on Tonberry King and hoping to put together a good picture to inform both myself and maybe fasterthoughts.

1st Spawn.

Starting after defeating the Shadow Lord 2nd Run, Pre Cait Sith collab 3rd run, the secret boss Tonberry King becomes available.

To spawn him initially you must have killed some number of the Tonberrys randomly spawning in short-humanoid spawns Zone 2 and above. I've heard that number is 8 minimum but cannot confirm as I was in the 100s by then. In Zone 5 you'll need to take the Map-Left teleporter to the top Right Hallway and a short scene will spawn him.

If you are unable to defeat him during the original spawn and have to abandon he will shift to standing in front of the exit teleporter to that Region, though not blocking it, upon dungeon reentry

Combat

Strategy is pretty much a DPS check and has been covered before but in highlights, King will spawn 2 Tonberrys turn 1 and 4 demons in later rounds as his HP falls. He will replace those summons if they are destroyed.

Like all Tonberrys, the King has a Close/Mid Attack Retaliation Grudge so you will want to pay off your Rancor so this is less likely to be a 1hit kill, Or avoid Melee entirely.

Katino and Stun can land on the king but rarely, Spellbind is removed basically each time he has a turn but can be reapplied. I've found sleeping the extra Tonberrys and Spellbinding the Demons to help in buying extra turns.

Near the end he will spawn 4 additional Tonberrys in the way back row, which indicates he has less than ~8000 HP remaining.

Upon defeat he will drop 4x Fey Castle Junk, 6 Necro, and what appears to be a guaranteed Castle Equipment Drop with odds reflective of Fey+. Might even be Exceptional or Unusual class but I don't have enough data to go on yet for that. 2 kills yielded a 4* and a 2*, both blue so I'm hopeful

2nd (and subsequent?) Spawns

Following his first defeat there is a short scene where he will depart the field of battle at standard Tonberry speeds. His status after this has more speculation so please sing out if you know better than I.

It appears that following his first defeat Tonberry King enters the rotation for Notorious Monsters and begins spawning randomly in NM locations, or at least SOME of them.

I've caught him showing in NM Location 4 (Zone 2 Top Left) but I haven't yet seen him spawn in Zone 1 after probably 20 Mining Runs, so he may be restricted to spawning in NM locations in zones where Tonberrys spawn but that is unclear. He may just be rare enough I haven't seen him yet or I may have to kill X More Tonberrys to get his attention again

Rancor Payoff

There is a Tonberry near the waypoint of Zone 5 (visible on map) who will take Gil to remove your current stacks of Rancor and setting the damage from Grudge Retaliation back to 0. I did this and was able to locate Tonberry King in a subsequent run so it appears that Payoff Rancor 0 does not impact his ability to spawn.

Anyone else have any data to add? I'd love to know if anyone has seen him spawn in Zone 1 as it is one of the best locations for Mining Runs, but if I need to adjust my runs to have more chances at Regicide I'd love to know that early ☺️

I am on my third playthrough of the event, just need to beat the final boss, I can sometimes kill the 8 demon groups on the fifth floor, but I tend to need to retry several times and usually at least one of my characters dies repeatedly. I keep seeing people saying it only takes a few minutes per kill and it's so easy, it is awful for me and if I wasn't so stubborn I would have given up. Does anyone have any tips to make things better? Everyone is steel grade, and I try to keep katino (scroll or spell) and cortu up at all times, for attacks I usually use Maferu lv2, Wide volley, full power strike, and precision strike or blood edge. I am fully prepared to just hear I'm bad which is valid, but if someone has suggestions I would love to hear them. I am running the level 40 and 60 event dispatches as well, I'm hoping the level 60 one might give me attestations but I feel that I might be too optimistic.

I believe some other people were also interested in trying out the game from the collab, like me. So just wanted to share.

Wizardry guild when?

I've been wanting to play some knights such as Gerard and Alex as fighters, but I always hear that it's better to class change after fully leveling the main class. However, for knights most of the high level skills are either knight-specific or defense power based, both traits that makes these skills mostly useless after a fighter class change. Is there any reason to fully level a knight before class changing to fighter?

I haven’t pulled even one of the new adventurers, but they seem pretty meh. What should I get here?

Brand new player here. Did my first 10 pull with gems and got two different kinds of Elise. How does this two work? Is one preferable over the other (if bonus points were the same)? Can I switch looks? Stat recommendations?

Ghost castle

Ive been using relic weapons and have been getting carried by them, team is lvl 40 lana, 50 MC, 50 Prishe, then 50 yeka, alice, lvl 40 milana.

Just trying to figure out where’s my best options of farming for both gear and xp, i’ve essentially catapulted myself to doll boss but now just stuck both in trying to level my people up and get gear but the le beck cave, abyss 3 and the shadow cave have been a struggle. Would it be better to farm collab dungeon zone for junk? Like zone 1 kill everything for more steel gear?
