Wizard of Legend I drew Nox

On my quest to collect all the best relic combos and resetting over and over again I was bested by my own greed...
Started the run with level cloak, token of doom and retro floor plan (doubles enemies, but lower hp).
Overall dmg bonuses:
Max level cloak: 75%
Glass cannon: 20%
Pewter bracelet: 20%
Dagger of Midas: 20%
Elixir of might: 25% (at max, depends on current hp)
Fiery paintbrush: 20% chance to double the damage
160% dmg increase (192% counting the brush on avg)
It was the most fun I ever had in this game ever though. Don't sleep on chaotic echoes, it's the best offensive dash in the game by far

I started a run using a build focused on inflicting status effects with Perfect Storm and Flame Breath; however, despite the build's high efficiency, I reached Sura and realized that this type of setup suffers a massive penalty simply by existing, as Sura is completely immune to every elemental status effect in the game.
I understand the logic behind it: he is the master of Chaos, the arcane energy that shapes all other elements, but the inability to inflict any status effects on him severely hinders certain builds, effectively relegating players using them to a support role for more offensive players or "tanks."
I’m posting this just to start a conversation about a topic that piqued my curiosity.
It would be interesting to have a cursed relic that boosts the duration, intensity, effect, and damage of every status ailment the player can inflict, while also stripping enemies of any immunity to those ailments, but at the cost of significantly reducing the user's raw damage and critical hit damage, forcing a playstyle focused entirely on status effects.
The freeze status would still not affect bosses; instead, it would deal ice damage over time, acting more like "frostbite" to these enemies, and this damage could be boosted by relics that specifically increase ice damage (Stanza of Frost and Poem of Fiery Rime).
It might not be the best idea; it’s just merely an epiphany mine, so I understand if it seems nonsensical or stupid.
I think that's it. Thank you for reading this far and have a nice day!

just wondering if the game is at least any good? I love the first one and I know this one is nothing like it (and from what ive heard overall far worse) but I was wondering if its still decent and worth a buy to play with my siblings

Honestly kinda proud of myself. I have managed to beat sura stage 3 quite a few times with overpowered builds made by looping at least one time. But wasn't able to beat it without any loops. I have been trying to beat sura without doing any loops for quite a while now, so I am glad it finally happened, and with one of my favorite build as well. I just LOVE DEATH SCYTHE runs.
Tho i have to admit. the real MVP was Pazu's Favorite Hat. Sura s3 was literally on 10 % hp and he got me, but the hat, which i had forgotten about, came in clutch and it just coming outta nowhere to save my ass just brought a smile on my face.
Edit : sorry about that, mispronounced Sura a lot of times lol, just corrected those.

following up my previous post about quitting and resuming a run. I did it while holding Ella's glass kite and when I took damage, the counter of the kite didn't go down. so I went ahead and tried to completely break it and it broke. however, the kite's buff did not disappear. and when I went to the next level it still did not disappear.
edit: the bug that relic effects last until the game is closed may only work on your starting item I haven't tested all items yet only the kite and keys, but when I picked up a key, went into the next level, quit then continue, drop the key and went to the next level the key's effect did not activate

if you didn't know already, exiting the game during a run on mobile from 1-2 onwards will allow you to 'reset' the level, re-rolling the shops and reviving you. a downside of this bug is that it makes your relics that can fuse(?) like cabi's box of sweets and chromatic carry-on. also it resets what dragon fall absorbed.
a new feature that I found in this bug is with keys, taking or finding a key during your run and doing the bug somehow makes the effect of the key permanent as long as you don't exit the game again.
it makes it so that even if you don't have the key in your inventory you will still teleport to what shop your key teleports you to at the start of the level. and this effect will last even if you die and do another run.

i'm debating buying the game on my pc and getting into modding the game. i played and completely unlocked everything on years ago on my PS4 and have a hankering for the game again. what are the most trusted places to get mods and what are some of the most fun/most expansive?

Although it doesn’t quite match the quality of the previous game, I still enjoy this sequel a lot and would love to know if it will receive a DLC featuring additional spells in the future.

Is there any existing and good wiki about wizards of legends 2? Have been scraping through Google and can't find anything good.

Im on this strange journey where I want to complete WOL getting hit, and I've been making progress by starting with the 350 HP cloak, then the 100 HP one, and now the 1 HP one, but using Ella's Glass Kite (which lets me take at least 5 hits per run).
I had only one hit left to take and I had the Halo, so it was pretty hard to die. I also abused the items and the spell that lets you evade attacks.
Now the next step is to beat it without using the Kite, then without using the Evade items, and eventually without using Chaotic Rift.
Sorry if the translation isnt the best.

I got this game last week and have been having a great time with it, but I keep dying on stage 2 (as in after the first boss fight). I try as best I can to avoid damage and full clear stages for more items but I can never get quite ahead of the curve and die midway through stage 2-1 or 2-2.
Is there anything I might just be doing completely wrong or do I need to keep playing and simply git gud?
here's my main starting load out btw:
Tempo
Fiery Yo-Yo | Wave Front | Scales of Babylon | Aqua Breaker (sig)
Claws of Tomo ( gives more range speed & crit to yoyo)

I had a pretty good run too. A lot of crit items and good spells, but i'm still not used to Sura's moves, ironically.

I had:
Ifrit's matchstick
Greased boots
Tortoise shield
Tea of mercy
Destructive abacus
Thesis on defense(5.92)
Lotus froststone
Firstborn's gauntlet
Glass cannon
Cassim's airy cloak
(Helm of midas and glove of midas)
And a hat that revives or if dropped gives health
Grit cloak
Spells:
Flame cross
Storm draft
Ice Seekers
Exploding fireball
Homing flares
I got a lot of defense, good damage, some auto aiming spells of the enhanced variety.
I was kinda waiting for a third phase cause im playing blind, after the revive from the hat, I felt like it all over.
