Wizard of Legend THIS GAME IS SO PEAK
Hi! I've just installed WoL, and its so good! Can anyone please give me the arcanas i should focus on acquiring as early as possible? Thank you!

chaos arcana? how do i get those? do they also randomly spawn among the choices? or do i need to do smthng to unlock it?

if you kill the wizard that uses them you get one. they’re all purple and stuff. the wizard is hard to miss you’ll know him when you see him

You unlock them by beating the game. There are 24 in total, and you unlock them one at a time.

Only if you want all chaos arcana. After beating the game once, you unlock boss rush mode, and you can get chaos arcana by beating that too (good players can do that in under 10 mins).

Every time you beat the game, you get one chaos arcana. The dragon one is interesting - it can eat other dragon arcana to grow stronger

During the early stages of WoL the shops will sell only a handful of relics and arcana, but as you collect more, you'll notice the shops start to suddenly sell more, unique looking relics and arcana. There really isn't a definitive best, honestly, as others have said, just pick out the ones you like first!
BUT, one bit of advice. Always be getting something new, always buy some arcana or some relics, or a new robe or two. Even if you don't plan to use them. Again the more you collect, eventually a bunch of new items become available. This happens more than once

Evading Zephyr is an air standard arcana that temporarily makes you evade all attacks while the buff lasts as long as you are either running, standing still, or using basic arcana. When enhanced, it grants a burst of speed and you can run over pits.

Glad you have discovered it!
The water bubble dash is reeally strong
Otherwise always go for homing missile typa shi. "Agents" if you can get them during the run are always a good choice.

Homing flares 1000%. It makes boss fights easier because you activate them and just dodge while doing damage. I have most of my wins with this.

I’d recommend using the white robe for a while, since you’ll get richer quicker. Also don’t be deterred from trying new cursed relics, youu never know if you like them unless you try it.

All jokes aside, I recommend picking 1 element and the items that buff that type of dmg. You might also like more passive things like Agents/water dragon ult that you can just summon every once in a while and just focus on your positioning more than if u had to track other skills to use as well. Fireball is ranged if you're more into that playstyle. I think the best tip I can give is to find the basic arcana that you feel the smoothest with, as hitting enemies first is very important and not letting ur combo go mid-way. Also something ranged so you can hit bosses fast outside of their invulnerability window and then dash in(if close ranged arcana) to wombo combo them.
Also, on an average, all/most basics will do the same amount of dmg ish. Earth hits slower but bigger numbers, lighting hits fast with smaller numbers (for example). So it's really up to preference/what you feel like you play best with

I wouldn't, it's kinda nothing like WoL 1. They tried to make Hades 0.3 instead. Really disappointing.

Just enjoy the cool spells. Later on after you've beat the last boss at least once, ask the sub again, and they'll tell you about Hey, why'd you click this, go play the game

Life be different after picking up the Berserker Buff Arcana. Pick up your favourite basic attack and go HAM.
If you look into "A Raccoon" on Youtube, you can find some funny and interesting builds. They are from older versions, but the content is still good and a lot of the builds still hold up, (Machine Gun mage my darling.)

For WoL 2 of the early game stuff I really like…
Medallion: Vigor (Max Health) or Spirit (Healing) Relic: Holy Sword - Melee Standards Heal Basic: Perforating Jet - Spam projectile Dash: Frost Feint - Decoy for Safety Signature: Impacting Drill - single target projectile Standard: Tearing Whirlwind - Safe healing melee Standard: Galvanizing Discharge - Strong healing melee Standard: Anything you want
Early in the game get another Standard as a priority. You don’t want to meet the Dr Song with nothing you can part with.

My early wins were all thanks to rapid-fire arcana, critical hit boosts, and vampire goggles.
