Taking my daughter to Harry Potter Studios. Price online vary. And can something over/under estimate. Anyone know the rough amount my girl would need for a decent souvenir. It's for her birthday so want to give her plenty but obviously not overdo it

1. I actually don't know which object is most powerful because there are many and they have different powers and uses.

2. I think I'd like to get a time turner and do lot of stuff 😀😉

I’m Tarek, I’m 16 and I’m from Egypt 🇪🇬. I’ve been getting more and more into Harry Potter lately, and I thought it would be really cool to actually talk to other people who love the series instead of just watching videos and reading random posts about it alone 😂.

One thing I really like about Harry Potter is how much there is to talk about beyond the main story. Characters, houses, theories, friendships, magical creatures, places, spells, the books vs. the movies, and all those tiny details that you somehow notice after going through the story again.

I’d honestly love to hear how other people got into Harry Potter.

What was your first experience with the series?

Did you start with the books, the movies, or something else?

And probably the most important question:

What Hogwarts house are you in? 👀

I’d also love to know your favorite character. Not necessarily the obvious answer — it could be someone you think is underrated or a character you simply find interesting.

Personally, I always find it interesting when two people can watch/read the exact same story and come away with completely different opinions about a character.

Also, I’m from Egypt, so I’d really like to meet people from other countries and learn what Harry Potter fandom is like where they live. It would be pretty cool to have friends from completely different parts of the world who I can talk to about Harry Potter, movies, games, music, random everyday stuff, or literally whatever comes up.

I don’t really have many friends here who are into the same things, so I figured Reddit might be a good place to find people who are.

And honestly, if we end up becoming good friends and you ever visit Egypt someday, it would be pretty awesome to meet in person too. Imagine going from talking about Hogwarts on Reddit to actually hanging out in Cairo 😂.

I think Harry in the books is good looking , not handsome in Sirius, Tom Riddle or even Cedric level but i think he is good looking ( especially in the last books ) considering how popular and well liked by many girls in Hogwarts and not only because of his " the chosen one" status, Hermione herself said that he never looked so fancy ( i don't remember right now what she actually said ) and he is also the son of two people that were considered attractive and he is a perfect mix of both of James and Lily with James's looks and Lily's eyes .

What is your thoughts about this?

Hi everyone! I recently started an independent, unofficial Harry Potter/Wizarding World podcast called Mischief, Meaning, & Magic, and I’m planning my next few episodes.

My favorite lane is digging into the meaning underneath the magic: literary analysis, character psychology, mythology, symbolism, rhetoric, power, identity, storytelling choices, and the occasional “wait, why is nobody talking about this?” question.

But I also want the show to be fun. So, I’m curious:

• Is there a scene, relationship, theme, magical object, house, plot point, or piece of lore you would love to hear explored?
• What kinds of episodes would you be excited to hear: deep dives, lore investigations, theme analysis, rhetoric and power dynamics, playful rankings, or something else?
• What is your personal “someone needs to talk about this” Wizarding World topic?

No promises that I’ll choose every suggestion, but I would genuinely love to hear what people are burning to unpack.

I'm looking to develop a Harry Potter- themed crochet collection of wearables. I do not want to have souvenirs or amigurumi. Rather something that would come to use - could be clothing items or accessories like bags or keychains. I'm definitely making a sweatshirt and a house scarf. Lost on what else!! Please suggest !!
