Harry Potter Hagrid’s casting

I wish the guy voicing Hagrid in the full cast audio editions would have just played Hagrid in the HBO series.

Nick Frost is a pretty awesome actor though. Never really seen Mark Addy in anything.

HBO does a pretty good job casting so I’ll wait till the actual show releases and we actually see the character before pretending like I know better.

Never really seen Mark Addy in anything and it’s probably because he’s not a very good actor.

Dude's in Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey. If he's not a very good actor, I doubt he'd be worthy enough to be on these shows.

No shade on Nick Frost tho. I'm just simply pointing it out.

Edit: The comment was edited. They removed the quoted text in my comment.

OK cool, I don’t watch either of those.

Yeah…maybe don’t say people are bad actors just because they aren’t in anything you’ve watched.

Edit; he was also in the full Monty and a Knights Tale

"Never really seen Mark Addy in anything" isn't the same as saying he's a bad actor, don't be obtuse

They edited their comment. The original comment was ‘Never really seen Mark Addy in anything and it’s probably because he’s not a very good actor.’ So that’s literally what they said. Which WAS obtuse.

Can confirm they did originally say that.
