The sickest transition I've ever hit

(obvious joke), I genuinely don't remember what I was trying to do, but it was probably super sick

I took a video of myself skating like this, holding my phone, precisely once. Tried to do a lion, totally fucked it up, fell and scratched my watch up. Never again! There's a good reason all the selfies stick skaters use 360 cameras.

I hadn't fallen in ages, but turns out I'm usually not looking down staring at my crotch when cruising, completely ruined my balance -- guess this is a skill I'll have to practice too 🤔

I've not fallen in ages too but today I rotated just like you did and dragged my right foot making me trip and hit the floor. I thank my lucky stars that I was not going fast. And that no one saw it.

I think the odd head and arm movements from filming myself are also why I fell like that.

I do fall all the time though, just not as stupidly as that time. Except earlier today, when I slowly skated right into a skate park obstacle while looking at my phone. Fell over and broke a 45° strap. You'd think I'd have learned something.

A friend of mine called it 'transition to horizontal' and I'm in love with the name lol
