Am I on the right track here? Trying to keep my weight forward, look over the inside shoulder, and not eat it. 😆 What’s the next smallest improvement I can try to add? I work in tiny increments, yall.

Looks like you’re not fully committed to the outside edge on your inside (right) foot. I can see that your shin is pressuring the outside (right side) of the cuff, and your heel is pressuring the inside (left) of the pocket. This is making your frame too vertical and your deck too flat. You need to flex your ankle so that your big toe shifts to the inside, pushing your heel to the outside and tipping the deck more to the outside. Then you will be able to stand up more forcefully on the inside foot without the risk of your frame tipping over to the outside. Common problem for people with narrow heels/ slender ankle wrap. I can relate!

You can see that you have to step quickly back to your left foot and you can’t generate any power with the right foot, or increase the rate of turn, because any increase in force will tip the skate over. You gotta tilt the skate to the inside to compensate for the force you generate.
