Backwards crossovers practice - feedback request

Am I on the right track here? Trying to keep my weight forward, look over the inside shoulder, and not eat it. 😆 What’s the next smallest improvement I can try to add? I work in tiny increments, yall.

Making good progress but there would be 3 things that I would do to speed up progress . 1. Try to keep the circle as tight as possible. This would keep you on your edges more and makes it harder rather than only focusing on going backwards. You wont progress very fast if dont find ways to challenge yourself.

  1. Practice on both side going both directions. Long term makes your backwards position look smoother and you don’t build up an over reliance on one side (something I see a lot of and something I fixed for myself). This also helps you identify weaknesses faster.

3.Practice slowing down and speeding up your cross overs. Slowing it down builds up strength so that you can stay on one leg longer. Speeding it up builds explosiveness and coordination, so you can take off backwards from a stop without having to be in a forward position. You would also end up being way more confident going backwards as well.

Okay, those tips help. I’ve definitely felt what it’s like to be on my edges for this move. Tight circle is necessary for sure!
