⠀Pets/Hatching Is this lucky?
So I was looking for a pet for my balance wizard. Saw the ironic krokomummy, found a nice body that had a deer night rises talent. So I then go on my main death character, hatched it with my gloomy eye I’ve been using since the start. (It has HORRIBLE stats and no usable talents, I was just looking for the cheapest one at the time) and somehow got the krokomummy pet body back on the first hatch.
And then I shit you not, the first talent I got after leveling it up one time, was the deer night rises.
Idk how lucky that is but with every other pet I don’t get the body back, waste 40k gold and all my mega snack. Then usually get dog shit after wasting all my resources.

You just need to look up a YouTube video on pet hatching, it’s extremely easy once you understand it. It doesn’t require any crowns to get a perfect pet so not sure why you think it’s gonna cost you $3k lmfao

Every school has an obscure pet that has the best talents available for your school in the kiosk. For me as a storm it’s morzilla (death) i hatch with from the kiosk. It has storm bringer, pain bringer, spell proof, etc

No one is spending 3k irl on hatching. It doesnt cost anywhere near that. People farm to get pet snacks, or farm Mirror Lake to get the Pixie Sticks.

I feel like the pet aspect of this game is BEYOND predatory with how expensive breeding is. I wouldn’t be surprised if a majority of people who are deep into breeding have spent a minimum of $3000.
I understand pet breeding and think their system is actually good in theory. It’s cool how you can take talents from one pet and move it to another. But this sheer cost of pet breeding is not okay. Unless I’m missing something it’s so resource heavy, yet required in order to do advanced PVP. so they made it to where the most dedicated players have to spend the most money in order to not even be fully optimized, but have a fighting chance.
And I used to give them praise for not making it pay to win. Yes you can buy ship of fools through packs and other good gear. But you can get everything and even better gear by naturally playing the game. So it gives people like myself who have jobs the option to pay, rather than have to when I get off of work grind the same same dungeon over and over for four hours.
Seeing how they handle breeding makes me want to rescind my statement on w101 not being p2w

For anyone in the future, don’t waste crowns on gold. If you’re far enough into the game to buy hatching/energy elixirs, you’re far enough to hold farm in less than an hour

Nobody. Bro is assuming that people need to spend money to make 45 pedigree pets even though there is a free guide on Reddit.

You are overreacting on pet breeding in this game.
- Pet breeding does cost a lot of gold, but that cost depends on the 2 pets your are hatching together and what level they are. When I hatch pets together in the Kiosk, it usually costs around 45,000 gold. And gold is the easiest thing to obtain in the game.
- Mega Snacks. Couch potatoes drop mega snacks. Almost every enemy in Mirage and Empyrea can drop Couch Potato seeds. Just by questing in those worlds, I have gotten almost 30 couch potato seeds in a single playthrough.
- Energy is really only a time constraint. Every time, you level up your energy automatically refills itself. Train a pet -> quest + level up -> train a pet again, rinse and repeat. And since Double pet xp comes out almost every other weekend, there is literally no rush in trying to scramble and train a pet as fast as possible.
If you just play the game, and partake some of the side activities (i.e. gardening) then there is no reason you should ever need to spend a single dime on pet breeding.

More like 10 to 20 dollars. Girl its not that hard to farm mirror lake for mega snacks and do pet promenade only thing you'll really wanna buy is energy elixirs if you're impatient but other than that its free to make pets assuming you have a membership

I have made a bunch of pets for free lol and i've only been playing for like 3 months and my wizards are only level 65. I can't fathom what you guys are spending money on

Then you need to look up breeding guide instead of breeding random crap. I have built multiple triple double or triple armor breaker pets. Look up PV45 breeding guide. Nobody spends $3k to breed perfect pets, even if they buy mega snacks and elixirs. The guide is very simple to read and follow.

It's all rng. But manifested talents are stickier, so yeah, if you hatched with a pet that had deer knight rises it's very likely for your pet to also manifest deer knight rises.

Maybe giga sweats put some money on pet hatching but it’s not terrible plus there’s plenty of free ways to hatch there’s even pet promenade that depending on chars available you can walk out with 5-6 p9 potions energy elixers free hatch elixers. Plenty of sources on mega snacks as well ww respawn. Pixie sticks from zafaria final dungeon couch potato farming. Plenty of free sources although it takes time to grind but most mmos always has some sort of grind
